Mistakes on Serebii.net V2

The link to BW attackdex doesn't work. It links to a nonexistent page. (This is true for all move pages from RSE Attackdex that have links to B2W2 attackdex).

Error: On the XY IV Calc page only, the é characters (eg. in the sidebar) are replaced with a question mark 'unknown character' symbol.

Link: http://www.serebii.net/games/iv-calcxy.shtml

(Contrast http://www.serebii.net/xy/ for example)

Probable Solution: Looking at the page using the developer toolbar on chrome, you have charset=ISO-8895-1 on it, whereas all other pages have charset=ISO-8859-1. Looks like a simple typo of the two numbers being reversed.

Na it's actually intentional. That page is just a bit buggy due to the compression used. We'll figure something out.

The Sea Mauville page on Pokéarth incorrectly lists Spiritomb as appearing in Room 4 and shows a pic of Spiritomb's room as Room 4. This is actually a separate room to the south of Room 4, making seven rooms in total. Also, Rooms 4 and 6 are opposite each other, meaning Spiritomb's room should be Room 5, and the room you have labeled Room 5 should be Room 7.

Tyrogue page in the GS Pokedex. Under Egg moves, it lists "Hidden Power" with "Hi Jump Kick"'s description.

EDIT: Also, Aipom's RSEFRLG Pokedex page (http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/190.shtml) has "Level up w/ Double Hit -> Ambipom" in the evolution box. Not really all that big a deal, but still don't want anyone trying and getting super confused when they can't get their Aipom to evolve in a Gen III game.

Eh, ragazzo!
Unless there is something I don't understand about the old Pokemon games, you have the effort values on the RGBY Pokedex the same values as the base stats.

Wouldn't they be more like (ex.) 2 Defense, or something like that?

This page shows what I'm talking about.

Nope. The way EVs worked in Gens 1 & 2 is that each stat could have 65,535 in each stat and the amount you gain is based on the base stats of the opponent.

Just a small spelling mistake on misty's biography page. Where it says the description for her pokemon togepi the line reads:

"However it started to show its ggressive side when General Hansen started attacking the Mirage Kingdom. It evolved to stop him."

It should read:

"However it started to show its aggressive side when General Hansen started attacking the Mirage Kingdom. It evolved to stop him."

In the Multi Battle section of the Battle Maison, it says:

"However, if you don't wish to play with a friend locally, you can play with an AI player. These AI players include your rival, Wally, Steven and Maxie/Archie , as well as everyone on your Friend's List. Each person is represented by a "friend" of the player and will have two Pokémon. You are shown the Pokémon they have before you select them, so you can make sure to make the correct choice".

I think the people on your friend list are not available for Multi Battle partners in ORAS, only in XY.

Hi,
I was just looking through the fairy types and noticed Altaria listed as Dragon/Fairy, should be Dragon/Flying I think.
Thanks for the great site, it's my first stop as a resource.
Pete.

P.S. I'm new so I can't even put the link in text form. but the page is /pokedex-xy/fairy.shtml
