Mistakes on Serebii.net V2

CharizardFire6

Charizard Trainer

This page says that Lucas/Dawn will use the starter that's strong against yours, but this is false. Like in the original Gen 4 Sinnoh games, Lucas/Dawn uses the starter that's weak against yours.

CharizardFire6

Charizard Trainer

This page says that Dawn/Lucas will switch from using the starter weak against yours in Jubilife City to using the starter strong against yours in Veilstone City, but that's not true at all. Barry uses the starter strong against yours, not Dawn/Lucas.

Error: The daily Pokemon section says "Underground Encounters"

Also, the link back to Pokemon Mansion takes you to the DPPt version, because apparently there is no BDSP version of it yet

I feel bad commenting for the first time in 5 years just to point out errors, so... if you see this Serebii, fantastic job on the site and everything you do. I am still checking the main site everyday, even if I'm not on the forums much anymore, and I really appreciate all your hard work. <3

This page indicates

After you have defeated the Elite Four for a first time you'll be able to rebattle the Elite Four, this time with bigger and improved teams. The teams will then increase in level again and add more Pokémon from the National Pokédex.

While this is technically true there are additional requirements

To unlock initial rematch team- National Pokedex needed. (I attempted to rebattle prior to obtaining national Pokedex and got the same team)

To unlock secondary Rematch team- Seems to only be unlocked upon catching Heatran (though this may need to be tested as I'm not sure if just battling it is sufficient)

I'd probably also suggest splitting the separate rematches into separate sections rather than the merged forms they currently show.

Eg
Rematch 1
Aaron- Lists their 1st rematch team
Bertha-Lists their 1st rematch team
Flint- Lists their 1st rematch team
Lucian- Lists their 1st rematch team
Cynthia-Lists their 1st rematch team

then as a separate section

Rematch 2
Aaron- Lists their 2nd rematch team
Bertha-Lists their 2nd rematch team
Flint- Lists their 2nd rematch team
Lucian- Lists their 2nd rematch team
Cynthia-Lists their 2nd rematch team

It might even be sensible to split the elite 4 and the elite 4 rematches into separate page (similar to the gym leader and gym leader rematch pages)

In this current Pokémon of the Week (Frosmoth), Ice Scales is at one point referred to as "Ice Scale," and Mudsdale's name is misspelled as "Muddsdale."

In the current Pokemon of the Week, at one point, Frosmoth's Speed is listed at 60 when it should be 65.

On the Poketch App page for BDSP. https://www.serebii.net/brilliantdiamondshiningpearl/poketch.shtml

This app will allow for you to change the colour of the Pokétch into one of eight different colours using a slider. The eight colours are: Yellow, Orange, Purple, Blue, Teal, Grey.
The last sentence quoted starts off as if it was going to list eight colours, but only six are listed. "Red" and "Green (default)" are missing.

Edit: Realized I forgot about the default green colour.

Do the staff know that many, if not all, errors that I've mentioned over a year ago in this thread about the subsection of Pokémon Masters EX (PMEX) still exist? Were my messages about them ignored? If so, then why? May the staff please message me soon about that? I thank them.

Anyway, here are two blunders that still need correcting:

1. Vine Whip costs one move-gauge slot—not two.
2. Slash is a Normal-type move—not a Ground-type one. Cynthia & Mega Garchomp's Slash is an exception because the pair's Ground Shift passive skill changes that attack's type from Normal to Ground.

Also, here is one new oversight. PMEX's descriptions of Defog and Lisia & Altaria's sync move, Miracle Idol Draco Meteor, now mention zone effects, so please modify those moves' onsite & PMEX-related wordings accordingly.

May the staff also please message me for all the other inaccuracies that I've discovered in PMEX's subsection? I thank them again.
