Misty's Starmie

I'm stuck on Misty's starmie because I picked squirtle and my pikachu gets KOed because of its bad defenses. I was thinking of getting a Beedrill because twineedle is super effective. I know beedrill has bad defenses aswell, but will it do better than pkiachu?

No. Don't choose Pikachu and Beedrill. Because Starmie is part of Water and Psychic type. So choose Wartortle. Because it learns Bite at Lv 19 and need to train it about Lv 26 should able to defeat Misty's Starmie.

Maybe train Pikachu to about lv.20 and like what Ash Pikachu said get Wartortle teach it bite at lv.19 then train it to lv.25 or so.

I used my own Wartortle and used Bite for the win. Wartortle resists Water Pulse anyway so it's cool.

Yeas just use warturtle, it wlll own mistys starmie.

There all right. I actually kept bite on my starter (squirtle) all through the elite four. He still knows it and he's a lvl 70 Blastoise!

Actually, I used a Paras when I was at misty, taught it bullet seed. It swept through those beeotches.

But at your point, like they said, go with Wartortle.

What everyone said is what you should listen too. Make the Squritle a Wartortile and don't use him until Starmie. Let Pikachu take down Staryu, and then switch to bellsprout/oddish. When they faint, send out pikachu and go in for the thunderwave. That will help you immensly. Pikachu will faint. Send out Wartortile, and use continous bites, and that should end Starmie.

Try Beedrill,Oddish/Bellsprout,Pikachu,and Wartorlte it's the easiest way

Just raise your Squirtle until it evolves (if it hasn't already), raise it till it learns Bite, then get it to lv.25 and it will own Misty's Starmie. For Staryu, you could probaly make it faint with Wartortle, too. You can't score super-effective hits, but you can still get Staryu out of the battle. I hope this helps, even if it does only a little.
