MK: DS Wi-Fi help.

DigitalKaede

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA NO!
Here's the deal:

I can't seem to connect to MK: DS Wi-Fi. It's supposed to connect to my Netgear router. The router is fine, not doing anything strange, and connecting to the Internet fine. In fact, when I play Wi-Fi on MK: DS, I'm right in front of the router. So basically, when I try to connect to the router, in which I'm in front of it, playing Mariokart, the DS thinks I'm far away and there's no "bars". What the heck is going on?

Yes. Here's what I do:

1. Turn on DS
2. I go to MarioKart DS
3. Then after the intro, I go to Nintendo WFC
4. I go to 'Nintendo WFC Match' (I'm already connected to my router, 'NETGEAR')
5. Click, 'Connect to WFC?'
6. Wait....(still no bars or anything while close to teh router)
7. Then: 'No compatible access point in range'
8. 'Confirm your access point setting in Nintendo WFC Setup' (Already did this)
9.'Error code 51300. For help call 1-800-895-1672 in the USA or Canada or visit www.nintendowifi.com'

maybe your router is kinda like my router.. it sometimes lets you do Wi-Fi and sometimes dont...

have you been to Wi-Fi before? i mean is it just today taht you werent able to connect... or have you Not been able to connect at all?

you have to type 192.168.1.1 on your router and disable firewalls thats what i did on mine

Sometimes the DS goes crazy when you are more then 10 feet away from the router. Your problem is mine most of the time.

so that explains why my ds simply says there's no access point when i'm next to a confirmed compatible wireless router?
that's the solution to my problem =/ but it's not my house, and the pc owner's not here, so i can't access the router configuration =(
