Okay, I was just in a Wi-Fi race on Sky Garden, and I am absolutely positively sure that the guy ahead of me fell off the track while attempting to cross the last cloud shortcut in the course. But he appeared right behind me again, no Lakitu or anything! Can anyone explain this?

Twas lag, as far as the DS was concerned he just continued onto go forward rather than jump like he obviously did.

It's hard to believe it was lag, because all the previous races went fine without any obvious lag warps or anything.

There are lots of things that could influence the connection speed and therefore lag, going further away from the Wifi router, someone else using the connection, packets dropped, mirrors down etc

try rainbow road. The guy obiviously falls but comes back alive safe and sound. Its not cheat or anything though, its lag and internet connection problems

Then again, guys, it's a big world out there, and there are many people that are very skilled at this game, or some of them likes to cheat. But still, even I have problems keeping up with these people.

BTW: This is has been more noticed with ACWW. It is possible to hack, but not by AR or other cheating devices. How? Wi-Fi allows to download scripts which turn curropt data to your advantage.

Dude, I totally know what you mean. I was ahead of someone, and then all of a sudden they were way ahead of me. It happened in the same area on Sky Garden twice. Either it was lag or someone was using that new cheating device for DS. (yes, there is one, I saw it at GameStop >>;
