MLP the tcg.

Last weekend, I go to league, low and behold I see 2 pokemon tcg players playing MLP ccg. So I decided to read the rules and watch the flow of the game, enough to say. Yes like anything it's possible to make this competitive regardless of what I have seen to play with (beyond the 2 starter decks which seemed like all starter decks, very limited in what it can do). The structure seemed okay, it had some nifty concepts, and like all games I saw various ridiculous game breaking combos here and there. Basing the game around weather or not you or your opponent can solve more of each others problems kind of had the same cinch from the show.

Then this weekend I saw more people play it, and 2-3 boxes worth of MLP ccg all over the tables.

So I gotta ask, is this popular else where?
