Well, in my opinon they plainly suck, i mean there like your average pokemon

They dont learn any moves till lvl 85 and only one move!

The real only advantage is there lvl 50 to start off with i guess, they weren't to hard to catch, i caught them all in a few hours i guess..

just bought 20 great balls each time, 3 revives. Caught Zapdos First time, Same with Articuno, but it took like 10 times for moltres....

Well what are you're opinion guys? IMO they just waste the time

Articuno and Zapdos make good party Pokemon with an execellnt moveset and also they help complete your Pokedex (if you're aiming to do so).

They can be kinda useful, IMO. They're all very similar, so DON'T use more than one on a single team. Anyway, it doesn't matter how many moves a Pokémon learns, moreso which ones.

If you expected them to be cheaply overpowered and win you all your battles for you, you were sadly mistaken. Their stats are above-average; similar to Dragonite and co., but they're not extreme or anything. If they were, they'd probably be banned from tournaments.

Edit: Grr.. I always see a thread with no replies, then write one, only for some bugger to have thrown together a one-liner just to beat me to the first reply. u.u

Yeah, they are a little useless. But Zapdos is pretty good, and Moltres can be used to decent effect. Articuno.....No. Buckets of weaknesses and a minute movepool a good Wall does not make ._.

For all the trouble you go through, it's barely worth it. And, ironically, Zapdos is the easiest to get, and it's the best. Interesting >>;;

To be blunt, you'd be better off with the Legendary Dogs or the Legendary Golems.

I think they are pretty useful.I wouldnt use them in the same lineup though. You basically need to teach them TM's to get a good one.Zapdos and Articuno are the best to use IMO.I never really liked Moltres though.

At first i was looking @ using them all in my party , 3 starts with 3 legendary birds.. would of been intersting ..

But with all the other pokemon out there i doubt it's really worth using any of them

I rember from pokemon yellow zapdos being the best!

Well...I dont think I would use all 3 of them though because you would have major electric weakness.Thats just my opinion though.I mean all the legendary birds and Blastoise and Charizard have electric weakness. The only one that wouldnt have a electric weakness would be Venusaur.
Yeah I always liked Zapdos too because it can learn Thunderbolt and Drill Peck.

Not to mention unique and original :)

Actually, it'd be more of a Rock weakness, especially in conjunction with Charizard, as the Thread Starter suggested. One 2x weakness(Zapdos) to Rock and three 4x weaknesses(Articuno, Moltres, and Charizard) to Rock isn't what I'd call a balanced Team =/

No need for names how the heck was I supposed to know you were posting too? D=

Yeah you should never have more than 1 of them on your team. I find Zapdos and Articuno good but I think Moltres is a flaming pile of uh...low defenseive stats heh

I don't use them much anymore, but they were pretty good battlers when I did use them. I won almost every battle :D. Now the only thing I use them for is to Fly or as an emergency battler.

*Ahem* Anyway, I think that they're...meh...okay Pokemon.

Mangekyo Sharingan

Personally, for me zapdos was the hardest to get, I spent like 3 and a half hours trying to get zapdos while the other two toook me ten minutes.

Well, all their good for is helping completing your dex, makes people wanna trade for them, And they are good to trade to Emerald version so you can use them at a battle fronteir!

Zapdos is a good electric,TM it thunderbolt. It has pretty good special attack. And it gets a strong flying move Drill Peck. It's flying type lets it be immune to the most commonly used ground attack Earthquake. It only has one weakness, rock. It doesn't have a 4x weakness.

Articuno and Moltres are both 4x weak against rock.Articuno isn't really good to me,since there are better ice types out there.Moltres is useable sometimes.

The birds don't really suck, they are good for beating the FR/LG elite 4.But in the Battle frontier, don't use all 3 together. If you do so,any pokemon with choice banded/STABed Rock slide can rip through your whole team.

Zapdos has a weakness to Ice-type moves as well.
Moltres is the hardest for me to catch and in the end I just shove it in a box. I can see why its hard to catch they know im going to shove them into a box =O!

Zapdos is the only one I would ever seriously use, the others are just too overladen with weakness with no way to counter it for my tastes. :\
