Money Tree Question

Okay if I plant say...50,000 bells and the tree bears fruit will each money bag contain 50,000 bells? Also if I pick it will the money grow back in a few days like regular fruit?

Good question. I'll never know, since my money trees mysteriously grow all the way, yet never sprout the money. ¬¬

I read planting 30,000 and over gives you a 50% chance of getting bells from the tree anything less lowers the % drasticly.

Mine has no bells. I planted 700. Nothing yet. It's been over a week since its fully grown and no money.

Well I just planted the maximum ammount of bells I think it was like 99,000. I would give it a try theres about a 50% chance you'll get bells.

I've planned 9 in a lifetime...they never grew any money. I don't even think it works at all...

You have to plant the tree with a (I use a hundred) bells with the golden shovel after cutting down an existing non fruit tree. I was sucessful in doing that in the old game.
I haven't had time to do that in the new one, but the guide says the above.
It will only bear 100 bell fruit. It's more of a novelty and if you pick the bags they won't grow back..

I heard thats its different in this game and I've also heard from a lot of people that it gives you three bags of the ammount that you planted that is if it grows fruit or at all which is rare for it to give bells.

Well, I planted 99,999 bells.. Tree, no money.

Try shaking them anyway.Maybe it gives you the money but doesn't show it.

As it has been stated, there is like a low chance of you getting a money tree.

And yes, the trees do show that they have money on them, if they are going to produce money.
