Dragon/Dragonic Mono-Type/OU Team

Dragon is one my favorite types and mosts of my favorite pokemon are dragon types so I decided on making an OU mono-dragon. Here is what I have so far. I will take suggestions as long as they are draconic pokemon

Dratty (Dragonite)
Gender: M
Ability: Multiscale
Nature: adamant
Item: Lum berry
EV's: 252HP/252Atk/4Sp.def

-Dragon Dance
-Fire Punch
-Waterfall
-Outrage

I tend to ether lead with him or sally when I use these two on non-mono-type teams due to no dragons learning rapid spin and stealth rocks ruining multiscale/sash, and because of multiscale he can use Dragon Dance without being OHKOed by a powerful dragon, rock or ice move then he can out speed most things that threaten it an with the attack increase STAB outrage OHKOs most everything that doesn't resist it and dents the steel types that do, lum berry so his rampage isn't brought to a halt by burn or paralysis, fire punch and waterfall for coveradge

Sally (salamence)
Gender: F
Ability: Moxie
Nature: jolly
Item: Focus sash
EV's: 4HP/252Atk/252Spe

-Dragon Dance
-Brick Break
-Earthquake
-Outrage

Just like Dratty I ether lead with him or Sally for reasons already explained, Dragon Dance can bring her speed up high enough to out speed just about everything that doesn't have a choice scarf and it can take a hit with focus sash then sweep with outrage and the attack building up with moxie on every KO everything that doesn't out speed it

this is all I have so far any suggestions?

Okay, one, MonoDragon is incredibly difficult due to the fact that you can't use more than two OU Dragons on a team. Two... Uh...

Where's the rest of the team?

I can't do a whole lot with this, but you're pretty much forced to use Flygon and some NFEs because of that restriction.

Isn't that only for the monotype tier, not for OU? The title says OU. I may be unaware about an OU rules though.

Ah, true. Then definitely Kingdra and Kyurem, you need the Ice resistance. Ice is all over OU, mainly due to how many Dragons there ARE.

Although to be honest I doubt this team'll do much. DragMag is essentially MonoDragon with a bit of synergy in the form of Magnezone and/or Magneton (they're there to remove Steels that wall you otherwise) but even DragMag isn't great this generation.

Kingdra also checks Heatran, which is a huge problem as it both resists Dragon moves (and survives them quite nicely) and is immune to Fire.

I tend to ether lead with him or sally

Oh, and, uh... I'm not sure what ELSE you'd lead with, seeing as that's your team, but you clearly haven't playtested this so.... I'd remove this bit for these reasons.

Then it wouldn't be mono-Dragon xD

The thread title was making me think Dragon-type only, and I think it did for the others too =P

Use something like Kyurem Black/ Garchomp/ Latios/ Hydreigon or Kingdra as your dragons. Also have Magnezone/ Probopass, Magneton, or Wobbuffet to trap opposing steel types and kill them! Use DragMag, it's very effective given the right power. I should work on one.....

Kyurem Black and Garchomp are physical attackers. Latios and Hydreigon/Kingdra are special attackers. Kyurem Black and Kingdra are neutral to ice.

If you're using more than 2 OU Dragons, this isn't legal OU. If you're using Pokemon that aren't actually Dragon-type, this isn't legal monotype. This begs the question... What is it?

I'm not super familiar with all the rules in the teirs so i'm going to make it a dragonic OU team would that work?

Monotype is using one type of Pokemon, whether Dragon or whatever and is allowed a Secondary typing like Garchomp's Dragon/Ground.

OU is overused tier where all Pokemon but Ubers can be used (Arceus and all forms, Giratina, Kyogre to name a few).

So you either go pure dragons or draconic-ish feel OU which is like Gyarados I guess which can seem like a dragon but really isn't.

I knew that, I mean I know the triers but not all the rules

Pokemon is fun!
Use either Dragonite or Salamence for a DD setup sweeper and use the other one for cleaning up the mess the first one makes. I recommend Salamence as the late-game sweeper and Dragonite as the wallbreaker.

So is the wall breaker Dratty's set it's current set? And Sally's current set the late-game sweeper like in the video in my signature? And thanks for an actually suggestion!

Salamence would make a better Revenge Killer. Use a Choice Scarf and this set:
Salamence @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Moxie
Nature: Naive
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 SpA
Moves:
Outrage
Dragon Claw
Fire Blast
Earthquake

You might be wondering why Outrage and Dragon Claw are on the same set. You don't want to be spamming Outrage when there are Steel types and Revenge Kilelrs are still up and kicking. Dragon Claw is for the moments you need to come out early.

What this means is that your team MUST consist of 6 Pokemon with Items, Natures, EV Spreads, and 4 Moves. It is also a very good idea to play test your team before you post your RMT.

Thread locked. Read the rules please.
