Most Anticipated Games & Hopes for 2019

NIS and Acquire just announced an adventure game project (only in Japan so far) called To All of Mankind and it looks really interesting so far. It’s clear why Acquire have been brought onto the project - the game is set in post-apocalyptic Akihabara, and Acquire are known for their games set there and do a really good job designing Akiba overworld maps. Apparently it’s about a group of girls trying to survive there, and although I have no clue what the plot could be based on that, I’m excited because Akiba’s Beat is one of my favourite games (despite its flaws) and having Acquire make a new Akiba game alongside NIS is really interesting, especially since they appear to be going down a really serious route this time.

Akiba's trip is a very good action game. A little difficult to take in hand at the beginning, the game remains fun with characters whose character design was made by the awesome Akio Watanabe, multiple references to Akihabara and fidelity of places, this game is a real fan service. I'm curious to see what To All of Mankind reserve to us.
