Well I can see SOME simularities between magicarp and gyarados. But yeah.

The eevee stages are sorta dramatic. ... sorta. But remoraid-octillery wins. I keep forgetting that remoraid evolves.

Exeggcute and Exeggcutor are VERY different- a group of eggs turning into a coconut tree? At least yours show fish turning into sea dragons, which make a bit more sense! But Remoraid-Octillery is just too wierd to comment on.

I also find some others a bit wierd, such as Flaaffy-Ampharos, Trapinch-Vibrava and Snorunt-Glalie. The Clamperl evolutions also come to mind... it's a bleeding clam turning into two sea serpents!

Remoraid to Octillery. When I first saw it, it screamed "I'm the weak fish Pokemon in this generation that doesn't evolve!" I thought Octillery and it were totally unrelated. Then BAM. Holy #@*%$.
