Most Epic Music

I'm doing a project where I'm advertising something, and I want to make it sound like a movie trailer, so I need some epic music. THis is a thread where you can post the most epic music ever.

The Thrashmeister

<-- Made of awesome.
That one piece of music that I think was in Star Wars, I think it goes something like
"SAW SOME WOOKIES
GREAT BIG WOOKIES
THEY CAME TO MAUL
DARTH VADER"

What kind of mood are you looking for, exactly? Intriguing? Sleek&sexy? Happy-ish? Crazy/active? Or maybe slow and serene? I have all of the following songs, so if you don't have one and can't find it somewhere, just ask. (Note: I found all on YouTube save "Mirrors a Still Sky." Either way, if you want a file of a particular song, just ask.)

Intriguing:
"Just Like You Imagined" - Nine Inch Nails*
"Prayers for Rain" - the Cure
"Burn" - the Cure
"Possession" - Sarah McLachlan

Sleek and/or sexy:
"A Day Like Today" - Tom McRae*
"Habanera" (aka "L'amour Est Un Oiseau Rebelle") - Georges Bizet
"Lily Was Here" - Dave Stewart & Candy Dulfer
"Mea Culpa" - Enigma (this one, though in French and Latin, has quite suggestive lyrics, but you don't have to use the lyrics, right?)
"Sadeness" - Enigma
"Crush" - Dave Matthews Band

Happy-ish:
"Just Like Heaven" - the Cure
"Why Can't I Be You?" - the Cure

Crazy/active:
"Indiscrete" - Qntal (I'm assuming no one in your class speaks Latin, so it probably won't matter that it's about drinking...)
"Touched" - VAST
"Sabre Dance" - Aram Khachaturian
"O Fortuna" - Carl Orff
"Alive and Amplified" - the Mooney Suzuki*

Slow and serene:
"Mirrors a Still Sky" - Love Spirals Downwards
"Mediterranean Dream" - Mehdi

*Has already been used in a commercial to my knowledge ("JLYI" in the 300 commercials, "ADLT" and "A&A" in some car commercials)

Most epic music ever.
He's back (the man behind the mask) - Alice Cooper.
Beautiful music it is the greatest song ever made and it's about Jason Voorhees hence it being a win win situation.

this isn't helping at all Electivire Addict if you want help with something then tell us all the detailes about your movie trailer, a commercial has a situation and a little story in it and that can feature everything so while you are busy explain us what the commercial is all about and what it's based on and so on, if you do that then we know what were up to.

Hammerheart

Son of Wōden
Maybe some Rhapsody of fire? there often called 'Hollywood Metal' (i think the sticker on power of the dragonflame said 'Symphonic Epic Holywood Metal' if i remember rightly)because of the similarity between aspects of there music and film scores.

Never Gonna Give You Up.

Meh, you could just go with Tabuu's Theme from Brawl. That's epic.

Or Dancing Mad from Final Fantasy VI. That, too, is also epic.

I'll mirror Hammerherat's suggestion and say Rhapsody/ Rhapsody of Fire if you want big grand symphonic epicness... mind you it would probably be better if went for Wagner if that's what you want.

I'm talking about stuff like this song called "lacrimossa", or the song that was playing when Anakin faught Obiwan in Star Wars ep 3

Yonowaru in Chaos

gaspard de la nuit
I nominate Abandoned Castle ~Curse of Darkness~ from Castlevania: Curse of Darkness by Michiru Yamane or Toccata into Blood-Soaked Darkness in the same game and by the same composer.

Or Dancing Mad from Final Fantasy VI. That, too, is also epic.

Well, there's a list of points considerable:
~ The Black Mages version, it's more epic than the Original Sound version, and doesn't include loops that fade out.
~ You might want to take out the third movement since its epicness is subtle in nature.
~ If you take out the 3rd movement, you might as well take out the 3rd-4th interlude and the 2nd movement.
~ Or you can just go the EPIC 4th movement altogether.
~ Or use the first movement with a bit of the second movement.
~ Unless your trailer is 12-17.5 minutes long, all these points should be taken in account.
~ The higher the volume the more epic.
