My friend actually believed he went up to the moon in a rocket to get Dexoys on the Moon. I asked him to show me the Dexoys and it was a Dexoys that I'd traded him.

Well, it's not that noobish, but for some reason I couldn't convince him.

Me, to my 9-year old neighbor: The chances of finding a shiny is 1 in 8192.
Him: No, it's 1 in 40!

Yet he has played pokemon since he was a little kid and has never found one....
