yeah a much overradet pokie's are charizard/pikachu and like umbreon espeon set with houndoom/flareon...but close this tread there are more treads like this close it

Mewtwo.Everyone loved him so much because he was the supposed "strongest pokemon ever".After a while he got way to over rated.And yes definetly pikachu.Then charizard.
Mewto's not really overrated, because it actually IS one of the best pokemon
And no, this is not a bias, but he has a great moveset, and high stats, so it's pretty good, better than most pokemon.i'd say Umbreon, because it looks cool, and yeah, with the right moveset it's pretty good. But lots of people like it becuase it's cool and black :O and when it's black it MUST be strong! 8D I better give it physchic and shadow ball and uhm faint attack! because it's SO strong!

Umbreon, many people use it. I mean, it has good annoying attacks and defence, but yet it's very overrated.
I find Kyogre and Groudon overrated as well, they aren't that hard to have against you. I dispose them quite easily, even if they have great movesets.
Actually, I find Mewtwo to be a great pokémon, but I don't like it. It's more overused in my opinion.

In all fairness, Metagross looks badass and is fantastic in battle.

Overused and overrated are 2 diffrent things, hell metagross is a pokemon with godly stats and a godly movepool, it's only logical it's used so much!
smeargle is kinda overrated :/ people forget that it dies to pretty much any attack, even though it learns everything

i believe Pikachu Is the most over rated pokemon ever I never caught him because Ash uses it to much in the show and it's the symbol and mascot for pokemon I just don't like him

Absol trainer has right, There are differences between 'Overrated' & 'overused'
but I need to agree with you, metagross is overrated, it's just like one of the regi's , he may be good in battle , but everybody is overrating him , every pokémon with Earthquake can defeat him.
