Most unfortunate things that have happened to you in Pokémon Crystal/Silver/Gold

Most unfortunate things that have happened to you in Pokémon Crystal/Silver/Gold

Well, the most, most, most unfortunate thing that happened to me was this:
I had almost all the Legendaries (all of them in Lv. 100), I only needed Mew and Celebi.
I was going to catch Celebi, I went to the Woods, and suddenly, my dog came running and my GameBoy fell to the floor. I picked it up and in the screen it said:
"The Internal Memory of your game has been corrupted, you cannot CONTINUE."
Now my team is:
Meganium: Lv. Lv. 80
Delibird: Lv. 70
Houndoom: Lv. 73
Donphan: Lv. 69
Magneton: Lv. 67
Lanturn: Lv. 69

Me: Aaaargh
;006; Take it easy!
Me: What?!! I hope you were deleted too!!!
;006; What? You... you... you don't care about me?
Me: What? Oh, sorry I didn't mean to...

I don't think anything can be worse than losing an important save file (e.g. a file with a nearly completed Pokedex or several Lv.100s). ;)

Well, I lost a save file too. One day I just switched my gameboy off and the next time I opened it, I saw my save file had mysteriously disappeared. What's worse is that I had 3 Lv.100s and a good amount of Pokemon in my dex.

Yeah true, nothing worse than a deleted file, one day i just turned on my gameboy and it just said start new game, it didn't say continue game. I just don't know how it hapened, i could distinctly remember saving the game. Oh well.

I was duplicating my chansey and I screwed up and it got deleted and I had to catch another. No real biggie for you but chansey is hard to catch yano. ;/

Yeah, my Silver game kept on doing the same thing. I got so fed up with it that I called Nintendo and the lady told me that I should wait 10 seconds after saving before turning it off. I lost a TON of good Pokemon including a Hypno and a Meganium which were REALLY strong.

The Most unfortunate thing that happened to me was i was about to beat the champ in Crystal, i was on his last pokemon and i still had full health, When my batterires died and my game got erased!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was Duplicating a Serebii for my cousin(even thoug I got it with a game code). But anyways when I trade the duplicated Serebii the game just courppted(did I spell that right if not oh well) and mine and my cousin's file was deleted. Did that happend because I used a cheat code Serebii or what.

The worst thing that happened to me was in Crystal, when it came time for the cave that led to Blackthorn City. I got the boulders wrong, and they wouldn't reset. I then left the game alone (until I restarted it again last month) because I don't think I could have gotten any farther.

Please, please, for GOD'S SAKE, could you even ATTEMPT to spell correctly? Run it through a damn spell check please. Every single one of your posts are barely understandable.

On Topic,
Worst thing that has ever happened to me would have to be the one time that I lost my Silver version at a Christmas party. It was gone for about two weeks before, by sheer luck, I randomly asked one of my neighbors if she had seen a GBA cart. She The woman said she spotted it on the floor after the party was finished and decided to keep it safe untill the rightful owner asked for it.

Got it back and STILL PLAY IT to this day!

The worst thing that happened to me, by far, was when my Silver version stopped working after duplicating too many times. It still had the original save file, that is, WHEN IT WAS WORKING. It would even freeze while I was playing.

I had a "perfect", 251, Pokédex in Gold when I for some reason decided to start over. >_> I regret it today.

Once I had beat a gym, and evolved like three pokemon and leveled them up a bunch, and my batteries died as I was saving it.
Another time the batteries died just after I caught Articuno, but that was in a different game.
I've really got to spring for good batteries, instead of bulk packages at the dollar store. :p

When my pokemon gold got corrupted (at the weekend when a seven year old and a three year old came to stay... *pulls out hair*), I hadn't completed much of the pokedex, BUT it had a MAX IV lapras and a shiny onix in it!!!

Well, I, too, have an unfortunate happening...
I was kind of young, and pokemon was much harder for me (WHAT DO YOU MEAN, balanced team?!? Was my theory.) Anyway, my dad and brother and I were driving up to connecticut, and so I pulled out gold for the ride. After much luck/critical hits/2 hours of gameplay, I finally beat Pryce! ( I guess leveling up didn't really occur to me.) So I walk out of the gym, and before I could save, the game shuts itself off! I realized that the little annoying red light had gotten very dima nd i hadn't noticed. And I took me another hour to beat pryce again. Needless to say, I am now a very obsessive saver.

The worst thing thats happened to me was that someone played my game without asking and used all the TMS and saved the game

Hello...
Nothing too bad, I guess the only thing is that when I was playing Gold and I was just about the defeat the second last person in the Pokemon League (forgotten who it was, I think it was Agatha) when the power ran out. Shows that you can never play on low battery. I was 8 then and I was using a GBC if I recall correctly.

The worst thing for me was that my game wouldn't save for a while.
