Motorola V220 USB Help

To connect my Motorola V220 to the computer it seems I need to get a special USB cable. However, if I take the USB cable from my MP3 player, and plug it into my XP computer, it recognizes it as a V220 phone.

But, it can't find the right software and won't install. I've searched the Internet for the Mobile PhoneTools software, which I eventually found, and that's when I found out that I need to get a special cable.

Is there a special driver or piece of software that can make it so I don't need to get the special cable. I hope I can just use the one I have because I don't know where I can get the new cable.

There is no special cable; the standard USB Cable [ Normal USB to MiniUSB ] works for the V220. I should know, I used to have one lol. Though, admittingly I had problems with Mobile PhoneTools because for some reason, Motorola did not provide the driver along with MPT. Try searching for "Motorola V220 driver" or something of the sort.
