• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

moves that pokemon should have.

How about Shock Wave Yanmega? I could see it getting use as filler, and it does produce them naturally.

Oh, and Superpower Wigglytuff would be epic. Especially if you've played PMD2.

I know what you mean! xD
It should learn that one mysterious move where it goes "YOOM TAH!" and everything explodes. I'm pretty sure it's not an existing move and it's not Hyper Voice since that's what it does when it cries for the perfect apples.

Brave Bird & Head Smash Aerodactyl. Just because of how epic it would be!

I really wish Flareon got a fire physical move besides Fire Fang. Flare Blitz is great but I would still rather have a 100 power physical fire if it had pretty good accuracy, no recoil, and good pp.

Espeon should also get more special moves since hidden power, shadow ball, and psychic are basically the best special moves it has. :(

Fly should be given to more pokemon with wings. Some bugs are big and you could ride them.. I wish Gyrados could learn it!

There are probably more but that is all I got for now.

In gold and silver, feraligatr should be able to learn waterfall. In all 3rd gen and 4th gen games, it can, but not 2nd gen.

Hmm, that's odd. Keep in mind that alligators and crocs aren't very speed-oriented, and Waterfall is a charging move.

1) Wings = Too flimsy to fly. It has BUG BITE. Good Lord.
2) Why? Aura sphere is only given to 'Holy' pokemon.
3) The two are immensely different: With Solarbeam, you're converting sunlight into energy and FIRIN YOUR LAZOR. With Energy Ball, you're using the power of earthly nature.
4)...Heart Scale is for relearning moves. For that to be so, every pokemon would have to learn it's punches at Level 1. That wouldn't make sense. The pokemon can't naturally do it; thus, they must be tutored on the correct way.

The heart gold description for yanmega is " This six-legged Pokémon is easily capable of transporting an adult in flight. The wings on its tail help it stay balanced."

And also, It's wings are less flimsy then the likes of Pidgey, Hoothoot, And Spearow. Not to mention Doduo and Dodrio can learn it and they really don't have wings to fly. If Vibrava who has similar wings can learn it, Why not Yanmega?

Garchomp with Fly, for obvious reasons.

But he doesn't fly. He glides.

...That's a very good point. Going to agree with you there.

No, it;s wings aren't less flimsy. Yammega has paper-thin wings. The others don't.

Granted, Vibrava's ability to learn it where as Yammega doesn't is odd. Guess the developers just don't like bugs. :p

Mareep, charmander and their evos should have learnt tail glow because manaphy is not a firefly!

"Land Snake"
"The beat of its wings is so powerful that it accidentally dislodges full-grown trees when it takes off in flight." Flimsy wings do not dislodge full grown trees,
Yanmega is powerful enough to fly a person around. Not sure about it doing a dive bomb in battle though, and that's what it needs to do to be able to learn fly.

Also, every pokemon that can learn Gyro Ball should be able to learn Rapid Spin. ...and there should be an event bellsprout or something, that can Hi Jump Kick like in the anime.

Mareep's line should learn Tail Glow. I agree.

But why charmander? Their tail doesn't glow; it burns. If you give them Tail Glow, then pretty much EVERY FIRE TYPE will have to learn Tail Glow!

That burning part is the glowing part because the fire on their tail. It not only gives off heat, but also light. Now the only question is whether charmander and evo can control their flames on their tail; whether it can shine brighter or not.

Well, that wouldn't really work for tail glow.

The idea of tail glow is that the pokemon flashes their tail light in different patterns to hypnotize themselves into being stronger. You can't do that with flames.
