Going through all those Gyms builds your team up to challenge the Elite Four and Champion.

Which moves do you think are worth letting your Pokemon learn?

Personally I am now a major fan of Destiny Bond, no matter if my Haunter/Gengar is lower than Lance, for example, if my Pokemon faints, so will one of his.

You can also list an entire Pokemon's moveset,

eg.

My Haunter, sorry!

-Hypnosis
-Destiny Bond
-Nightmare
-*Undecided between Shadow Ball for STAB or Dark Pulse*

Or my Feraligatr
-Ice Fang
-Surf for STAB, and transport.
-Superpower
-Hydro Pump for STAB.

I am also a fan of destiny bond. I use it often if my pokemon has a low chance of winning. Endure is also helpful when countering one-hit-KO moves. I just came up with a question, Is it possible to survive destiny bond by using endure?

Don't think so. The effect of Destiny Bond only lasts the same turn it is used. I think that both are high-priority moves, so if they are both used in the same turn, with no move that faints you, then nothing will happen.

I'm such a fan of destiny bond. I'm not going to go into reason. I'm just going to say that it helped me bet the Hoen Eliete four for the first time. (Emrald was my first game to.)
I don't really have much to contribute to the thread though. Sorry.
