moveset for venomoth

Is venomoth worth raising? if so, would this be a good moveset? any suggestions or other movesets would be appreciated..


-bug buzz
-sludge bomb
-energy ball
-toxic/ toxic spikes?

I like Venomoth but I'm not sure if it is worth rising. I've never had one on my team before. Anyway if you're gonna have it then you might want Silverwind and Poison Fang and maybe a Psychic attack (if it can learn TM29 Psychic then teach it to it.)

...Filler(maybe toxic or stun spore)

Its movepool is pretty compact....

Worship the willow!
Toxic and Toxic Spikes are good moves, but Psychic is better in most cases. It doesn't only learn it by TM29, but also at Level 55!

You might want to give its below-average Defence a boost with Bold.

Venomoth hasn't good stats but any Pokémon is good if used well.

You can try to get Sleep Powder/Stun Spore/Toxic, Bug Buzz, Psychic, Energy Ball or Sludge Bomb. Also try a Sp.Atk raising nature like Modest because it'll be based on special moves.

yes he is really good with the right move set, i have one in y and he knows sleep powder, quiver dance, bug buzz and baton pass. first i put them asleep then max out with quiver dance and baton pass to another pokemon or use bugbuzz which ever is super effective. hope this helps
