I just finished watching Zoroark Master of illusions, and I can't believe that Cartoon Network has cutted out the beginning of the movie the the from World of Pokemon, to Zoura escapes. SERIOUSLY CARTOON NETWORK! I didn't get a chance to hear the mentioning of Nimbasa City, and I live at PA where the Franklin Mills mall. So it won't be another week for me to see Movie 13 in theaters (If I get the chance) and I thought it was TPIC doing for cutting off the begenning of the film.
Did the same thing happen to you?

Yeah, Cartoon Network not only cutted out the prologue. They also rushed the credits, meaning we don't get to hear if they kept the original japanese song, sung it in english, or did a completely different song. They do the 'rush the credits' thing on every movie featured on their channel...

They obviously did to add more commercials

I hate their dumb commercials, always ruining the good parts. It's like every 5 minutes they had to put commercials right when the good part of the movie was about to happen.

Well one of the reasons to hate CN Nowadays is that they rush credits on every Movie. When we want to hear if they kept the song or not.

The Arceus movie I watched on YouTube was apparently from the Australian CN. They may have compressed the credits with adds, but it wasn't sped up.

Seems it's only the American CN that does it.

Not only was it cut, it was cut to show ADVENTURE TIME.
Ugh, you don't even get the whole 'end of DP' feel :/
Oh well, besides the prologue getting cut, the commercials every 7 minutes, and the cramped, sped up credits, it was a good movie.

Yes it was...

Damn that stupid Cartoon Network not giving us a good feel of the end of DP like Japan gave it a good atmosphere of The End. Especially with the presences of crappy shows on Cartoon Network. *Growls at crappy Live action shows on CN*

They shouldn't of palyed the Giratina movie, but other, shorter shows to play all the commercials on so we could see the complete movie.

But maybe they never got enough time to dub the beginning scene or make the opening and ending music.

CN sucks for cutting out the important movie parts for their stupid advertisements.

Guess you lot will just have to buy the DVD if a few minutes of footage and some music are that important to you.

CN sucks for cutting out the important movie parts for their stupid advertisements.

You mean the advertisements that account for the vast majority of the network's revenue, allowing Cartoon Network to be in the lower (read: cheaper) tier of channels for most cable systems and thus the advertisements that basically allow you to watch the channel in the first place? Yes, let's keep complaining about those.

*Growls at crappy Live action shows on CN*

As you so often do, you're kidding yourself if you think CN's other programming, live-action, animated or otherwise, has anything to do with how much time they grant to elongated programming like a movie.

They shouldn't of palyed the Giratina movie, but other, shorter shows to play all the commercials on so we could see the complete movie.

Again, they have a commercial quota they need to meet per hour of programming. In addition to that, they do not simply pop a movie DVD into a player, hit "Play" and let it run; programming is prepared for broadcast in advance. CN was likely delivered the broadcast version of the film, edited for time and television, weeks ago if not longer.

Well, as much as I'd like to see it, I wouldn't pay for a movie ticket just to see the first 10 minutes and the ending. I'd rather just get the movie.

I'd rather wait till the movie comes out in DVD and buy it, to watch the english version of the prologue CN failed to show.
