I've always thought it was ugly, but it was also sort of cool-looking imo. This new thing - for want of a better word since I'm not sure if it's a new form or a new Pokemon completely - just isn't cutting it I'm afraid. I'm not here for grotesque Pokemon unless they have some positive aspect that balances it out. So far, I'm getting bad vibes from this form.

Nothing Serebii indicated, confirms that this "new Pokemon" and Mewtwo are different beings. Other than the trailer will have this new Pokemon and Mewtwo (both showing up doesn't mean two different beings).
Otherwise you'd have to argue there are 3 Kyurem in the Keldeo movie.

Poor Genesect. It used to have so much hype surrounding it but now it doesn't even seem as important as Mewtwo. Sigh. I still like the Shiny one even if it does seem kind of gimmicky, but it's hard to get excited for the whole group of Genesect when we can already predict that they'll be overshadowed. Not that I blame Mewtwo completely for that; Genesect isn't a very interesting species to begin with imo.

I'm not opposed to a new Mewtwo forme, nor a new generation to the Mew line. However, no matter which this is, I feel like it's just Mewtwo with its tail attached to the back of its head. They probably could've been a bit more creative. Then again, Keldeo's formes aren't that different either.

Someone stated above that this may be Mewtwo's creation. I think that would be much more awesome than him getting a new form, although the way they'd implement that into the game would be a mystery to me. Perhaps they could find him in a lab and state that the DNA was taken from a unique specimen in Kanto.
Idk, just sounds much more acceptable to me than having Mewtwo acquire a new form, since his design is beautiful, in my opinion. The new design is rather simplistic and alien, and those toes look sort of gross. XD

What about the possibility of the new form actually being a combination of Mew and Mewtwo merging together (similar to what we had as Black Kyurem & White Kyurem).
Until now in the anime (or the main manga), whenever we had seen Mewtwo, Mew would always be around. So, in the face of danger Mew helping Mewtwo wouldn't be something odd (it has done that before).
Also since technically Mewtwo is a part of Mew, so them merging together wouldn't be something impossible to consider. Also just like the merging of Kyurem produced sort of new powerful pokemons (even though they are considered as forms), Mew's and Mewtwo's form could be considered something new as well.

I wish it was a new Pokémon, but probably end up being a new forme.

I'm not a 100% convinced that this is an alternate forme. It could be a new pokemon, I'd rather have that tbh. I want it to be something like what Phione is to Manaphy.

It's starting to grow on me, but I still think the fact it has no tail looks terrible, particularly only the camera shots behind it though.
The legs look like they are detachable or something and it ruins it.
Regardless, MewXY looks fairly cool to me now. I'm just whether this is actually Mewtwo or not. It seems stupid to question it but there are a few possibilities saying otherwise, who knows. It probably is Mewtwo.
