hi i was looking at the new movie 8 pics and i picked something up:

Brock has Bonsly, yet his mudkip has not evolved, ash's phanpy has not evolved, and james still has chimecho.

discuss, correct if wrong

it isn't Brock's Bonsly

it is a wild Bonsly used to promote Bonsly and the fourth generation

This movie happened before Brock got Bonsly and His Mudkip evolved, Ash's Phanpy obviously hasn't evolved yet and neither has May got Eevee or James left his Chimecho at the mansion yet. So question sloved no other answers needed, me thinks!

Um guys, this movie takes place right after the Cleffa episode and before the Noland episode. Everything fits.
