Unless my eye is deceiving me, I didn't see anyone mention the most overhyped movie of '07.

Transformers.

The movie was decent, but it sure as hell didn't deserve the hype it got/is still getting. Now with word of Transformers 2 coming out, all the hype that had died down somewhat is now back with a vengeance. Ok, the movie was alright, don't piss yourself over it, it's just a movie.

i saw it and b4 my friends nvr stoped talking about so just to make them happy i spent 10 bucks to see it

I can't believe no one has mentioned this as this was WAY overhyped. Everyone at my school was talking about it so eventually me and a group of friends went to watch it and it SU**ED. The next day the rest of people talking about Jumper said that they were going to watch it so me and my friends just went to them and said "Don't waste your time and money on that movie" and then they argued until the next day and we all agreed. :D

Tbh, the only decent thing about Jumper is that Samuel L. Jackson was in the cast.

nobody was talking about it where i live . i agree i hated the movie but the book is actually really good. completely different from the movie except for the concept of jumping

Edit:

As for me , Iron man , Transformers, speed racer , Indiana Jones, The Dark knight movie (everybody i know has suddenly gained an interest in it and is all excited about it just because the guy died seriously they probably wouldn't even want to see it otherwise), Casino Royale and that's mostly it from me although i kinda agree with everything everyone else has said to an extent

Superbad keeps getting talked about in positive ways. Annoys me so much.

While Cloverfield keeps getting brought up in a negative way, which just annoys me even more. I'm the only one of the people I know that has seen and liked this movie, which is really too bad.

I'm sick of hearing about Iron man too

And I have some friends who are completely obssessed with The Producers, and it is so annyoing listening to them every single day about how funny it is...

I'm also annoyed at all the attention The Lion King got (although I like the film) seeing as it clearly plagerised so many other things.

Juno was about someone who messed up her life by getting pregnant, and everything ended happy (never does)
