Quick question about Pearl and Diamond; do the Pokemon sprites move? I am a big fan of moving sprites, ever since Crystal introduced it(why did they wait until Emerald to bring it back though?!?), and I just wanted to know if they did.

Yes, the sprites move. Both front and back.

But they're mostly like the boring Emerald ones, but they did better.

Amen, but the DP animations are much nicer than the Emerald ones, they were disgusting. Crystal were still the best...

ya i like how they bruoght back motions and even how they added in the motion after u fail to catch a pokemon (thats kinda neat lol) and hopefully now they will always have motions and slowly make them better cause in emerald i didnt care for some of the motions that were long but then i didnt like ones that would jump once and do nothing...

I love the moving sprites. Each pokemon should have it's own movement. I hate it when the pokemon stretch.
