Mr. Mime moveset

Well Mr. Mime doesn't seem to get much playtime so I decided to train one up. Here are a few ideas I have for him.

This is a Baton Passing Mr. Mime. If I suspect the opponent to use physical attacks I will try to throw down a few Barriers and a Calm Mind then switch to a more dedicated fighter with Baton Pass (I have never used a Baton Pass, but does the move actually switch the Pokemon or does it just mean that when you switch Pokemon on your own the benefits also switch?). He also packs the Psychic so that he can still give a beating (he has decent Sp At).

Mr. Mime (Filter//Calm -Att, +Sp Def)
-Psychic
-Calm Mind
-Baton Pass
-Barrier

My other idea here is a Pseudo Baton Passer. He could either use Hypnosis initally to try to get the opponent to sleep and then use either Reflect or Light Screen depending on which is more appropriate (or use both so the team is prepared for whatever comes with next opponent). After that he can either try to finish off the opponent himself or switch to a more dedicated attacker. Alternatively he could forget the Hypnosis to try to give him some more coverage by adding a second attack.

Mr. Mime (Filter//Calm -att, +Sp Def)
-Psychic
-Hypnosis/Thunderbolt/Energy/Shadow Ball
-Reflect
-Light Screen

I am still a pretty big amateur with training so I was hoping I could get some of your opinions.

Cheers

Yayyyyyyy! I LOVE Mr. Mime! One of my personal favorites. Ohhh...nostalgia. All of my friends had Alakazams...I had a Mr. Mime...and I owned them with it. >>

But, whatever. The first moveset you have looks very good for a Baton Passer. You could also use Substitute instead of Barrier, if you like...but I'm a fan of the Barrier-passer.

Second option's pretty good as well! Either one of them would be pretty neat...

You've got a good grasp of things, it looks like. Good Nature choice...makes an okay Special Sponge. Just too bad about the HP...

There are a few other good options too. Like...

~Mr. Mime~ / Filter / Calm or Timid Nature
Torment
Encore
Substitute
Psychic

Muhahaha. This one is hilarious! >) A different kind of annoyer...

~Mr. Mime~ / Filter / Modest or Timid Nature
Calm Mind
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball

Special Sweeper. Mr. Mime's got a good Special Attack, and he can use it pretty effectively. Not the most exciting build in the world, but it works.

~Mr. Mime~ / Filter / Calm or Timid Nature
Teeter Dance/Confuse Ray
Attract
Toxic
Psychic

A more conventional annoyer.

Mr. Mime is nice because it just has so many good moves to pick from. Surprisingly diverse Pokemon! S'why I love 'em...

Oh, and as for Baton Pass, it automatically switches the Pokemon out. You use Baton Pass, it goes to your Pokemon screen, you choose one, they automatically switch places. That's how it works...

naaah i simply love OP's build, specially BPing on a Starmie or Gardevoir. It simply wrecks havok in oponent's team.

I would raise Spd in order to ensure that barrier at first turn (im thinking in using Mime as starter), a couple of Calm Minds and then BP. That simple.

Yes, I was leaning on the first moveset but I wanted to see how Baton Pass worked. And as always other people's opinions are welcome!
