She doesn't escort the dead to the afterlife, but instead raises them to fight and die again.

The mighty valkyrie, one of the icons of the set. 6 for a 4/5 flyer + vigilance + effect aint half bad. Not to mention the effect is making casual players go wild.
However, I feel the Valkyrie fell into the wrong slice of the color pie. There aren't a lot of white cards that come to my mind that "destroy" besides the Wrath ofcourse. But then, the valkyrie can't be abused over and over again, requiring you to splash another color. Not to mention, you'd have to kill creatures the hard way (through combat). Still a fun card for limited as well.
