Righteous Fury - Portal Second Age, Starter. Rare
Destroy all tapped creatures. For each creature destroyed this way, you gain 2 life. (This includes your creatures)

hmm.... Wrath of God vs Righteous Fury. Well, I guess if your opponent swung in with all while you have a good board, this can be useful. Kirtar's Wrath is another option for 6 mana but also puts in 2 1/1s if you have threshold.

The way I see this card is, your opponent swung in with all while you dont have that many good creatures enough to make use of this card after you play it.

Or you have control of the board and your opponent doesn't tap his/her creatures.

However, you can combo this with Icy Manipulator, Leonin Bola, Puppeteer, etc. Otherwise Wrath of God or Kirtar's Wrath > this card.

This isn't even really that good for six mana, it's effect is situational destroying only tapped creatures, I mean the life gain part is OK but unless your low on life it really doesn't matter. 2/5

I don't really like this, either. By the time you get six mana for this card, your opponent will not tap out unless he wants to lose the game. Even if you can get it going, this still probably won't kill the creature that is being annoying.

I could see this played in the Saproling G/W deck. You can tap all your 1/1s for convoke, then use this to gain a ton of life. It's really situational though and I don't like destroying my own creatures, even if it means gaining a ton of life. With a wrecked board position, you will probably lose all that life soon and more. 1.5/5

For 6 mana, I rather run Final Judgement or Akroma's Vengeance. At 7 mana, you can have instant Wrath of God (It was in Invasion and cost 3WW with 2 Kicker for instant speed. Forgot the name ATM.).

Anyway, as Wrath effects go, this is kinda weak. They can regenerate and thus, cancelling out the secondary effect of gaining life for their deaths. Not amazing.

While Akroma also allowed regeneration, it killed Artifacts and Enchantments alongside Creatures. Pre-Threashold, Kirtar's Wrath made a slightly slow WOG, but after Thershold, it gave you two free 1/1 White Flying Spirit Tokens, although, that's not exactly amazing, it is card advantage. And Final Judgement REMOVES things from the game, so we can't exactly complain, as that stops a long list of things.

This card is a selective Wrath with a side ability that tries to make up for it. Being selective, this makes the card ver conditional, thus considerably weaker. And while there is a chance that this can essentially Wrath only your opponent's side, I don't think I'd see this happen often. And I sincerely doubt an opponent would let themself caught in this sort of trap a second time around. It's not hard to play around and the gain life is almost insignificant.

OVERLL: 2.5/5

It's from Portals. Most of those cards sucked. Look at Sacred Nectar and compare that to Life Burst. Or even Healing Salve ~_~
