I'm planning on getting a Murkrow with these moves:
Sky Attack
Mirror Move
Drill Peck
(Undecided)

any advice?

I'm not sure why your'e bothering with Murkrow anyway but it's not a good idea to have 2 offensive moves and both of them be Flying, get rid of one of them. I think this belongs in one of the 'Rate my team" forums. I don't like Mirror Move much, but Murkrow doesn't learn many good moves anyway. Faint Attack maybe?

While the thread's still here and open I'll just add that you should probably just try to add a dark move, like he said. Take advantage of the type congruency damage bonus and all that jazz. As for having 2 flying attacks, that's no good. I'd drop sky attack and put on some kind of status-effect move or useful stat changer. Protect might even be good for a laugh, though the tm would be better spent on something with a strategy for it or something with Pressure.

I suggest you go with that. But, I kinda combined two fo the posts to make a moveset you might want to try?

HP fighting, should really take out some of those annoying rock types, as could steel wing.

Basically, experiment with Tazzler and Shiny Mewtwo's suggestions until you find a moveset that helps you out.
