Since this thread got a kick start after two or three months, I'm editing the first post (FINALLY!!!) because:
1. The YouTube videos I posted were down.
2. People started getting the music from the games themselves.

I'm not going to post the music links here and credit the people, but here are two links to posts of other people:

.:Alex:. posted quite a few tunes here

Space Guard posted a .zip from Scizz of Pokecommunity

There's more out there, but these are the two biggest (as in, most links to music or something along the lines) I could find. Remember to credit and thank the people that posted their ripped music.

I really like the Team Galaxy one, it seems like it flowed seamlessly from the town music to the encounter music. I doubt they intended that, but it would be cool if that's how all the music in the game was, with seamless transitions like that (I don't think it'd be very possible though).

I like the battle music alot, The other music is kinda lacking ;x

Yeah, the Battle music has improved. I'd like the transition idea, because I remember whenever I wander through Caves, I'd sit there and listen to the music. A Pokemon appears and a battle starts, scaring the stuffing out of me. It goes from a quiet, cool music to a loud, intense battle music.

Hopefully they change the beep sound into something softer. The rest of the music sounds a heck of a lot better than on GBA.

:O I loved the beeps! But ofcorse I do love migranes... Maybe you can alter that sound just as you can change the border styles in previous games. Who knows

Did sound softer in one of the videos...but the rest sounded the same -_-

Cool story.
I don't have the game, but I have seen videos of a regular battle, and I really like the battle music! I haven't heard any others though.

Thank you, SPPf! :)
The Team Galaxy battle theme is the only theme that has impressed me so far. Of course, I've never been too keen on Pokemon's music in the first place, so that could very well be a compliment.

Uh, it says that theyve been removed. Can we get new links or something, please?

I think the music is much better. It has elements of the 3rd gen in it, but better.

I'm liking the music so far, some route music is quite good. I don't think the battle music is great though...But not bad.

Did anyone else like the Celadon-Casino-Dance-NightClub-Dance-Remix-Thing for the Casino in this game? Haha it's pretty cool. Mind you though, I'm not liking the Western influence for some of the songs so far...It's like Colloseum all over again. Well not a bad thing, but still.

The cave and forest music is very nice.

If you're talking about the videos like the ones on this page all they did was cut up the opening theme, so that "transition" was just the part in the opening that showed Tengen Mountain. The real Team Galaxy battle music is possibly the best next to the original and D/P Champion music (IMO)

Back in the days of red and blue I would hear the music long after I turned the game off. It was kinda of scary. Probally not very healthy either.

The music in Pokemon is a huge part of what gives in charm, and elevates it above being just a "kids game". It's very well composed music, complex without being overly complecated, and almost always very catchy.

I used to play Pokemon with the sound off while my GF watched tv, but found that it got boring fast. Then I turned the sound back on. It was amazing how much more fun it became. I can tolerate searching for a random Pokemon for about 15 minutes with the sound off before I stop having fun. With the sound on, I can search for hours. I probably never would have caught a Feebas if it weren't for turning the sound on.

Likewise, I needed to turn the sound off when playing Colosseum. That music sounded so fake, so cliche', so uninspired. The battle music wasn't too bad, but the best of it was really, really awful.

I hope to god that D/P's music owes nothing to an influence from Colosseum.

Oh my God. I love DP's score. All the battle music associated with Team Galaxy is good, towns and routes are good, I just love all of it. The first time I've ever really liked the whole score. The fact that a lot of the tunes change from day to night is cool too. Listen to it with earphones sometime.
I hope someone does midis for them eventually.

Just for the record, yes, Colo's music sucked. lol.

The music is a lot better than any of the ohter games exspecially the gym battle music they are the best including the route music XD

I really like the music. When you use the bike the music was gentle in all the other games but D/P goes for more action style music while riding which is cool.

The game still contains annoying beeps when scrolling through items and Pokemon but besides that, the music is majorly improved.

I suggest you all go play Red and Blue and laugh at how lame the game and it's music is compared to D/P.
