Hey, guys. This is my first Serebii RMT. I have 3 OU, 2 BL, and 1 UU. Credit for the images goes to Arkeis.

Swampert
swampert.png

Relaxed @ Leftovers
Torrent; 236 HP, 66 Atk, 216 Def
~Stealth Rock
~Earthquake
~Ice Beam
~Surf

My lead. After he throws up Rocks, Earthquake for STAB or Ice Beam for coverage. Not Avalanche because I don't have it anymore. Surf for Rock/Grounds. 236 HP to optimize Lefties and 216 Def for physical moves.

Infernape
infernape.png

Adamant @ Life Orb
Blaze; 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
~Fire Punch
~Earthquake
~Mach Punch
~Close Combat

A physical sweeper. Earthquake and Close Combat are obvious. Mach Punch to kill Sashers before they can get to me. Fire Punch over Flare Blitz because I don't like the recoil and I already have 10% from Life Orb.

Staraptor
staraptor.png

Adamant @ Muscle Band
Intimidate; 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP
~Close Combat
~Return
~U-Turn
~Brave Bird

Staraptor is mostly in here for coverage. Everything is pretty standard here. Hit hard and then U-Turn out.

Gengar
gengar.png

Modest @ Expert Belt
Levitate; 124 Spd, 252 SpAtk, 124 HP
~Shadow Ball
~Thunderbolt
~Focus Blast
~Hypnosis

A special sweeper. Thunderbolt and Focus Blast, well, just because. Shadow Ball for STAB and Hypnosis for pesky pokemon/type disadvantages.

Magnezone
magnezone.png

Modest @ Leftovers
Sturdy; 200 SpAtk, 184 Def, 124 SpDef
~Thunder Wave
~Thunderbolt
~Flash Cannon
~Explosion

The semi tank SpAtk sweeper. The Defense EVs are so much higher than the SpDef EVs because it's main weaknesses are to physical moves and I'll just Explode if faced with a Gengar or Alakazam. Thunder Wave slows the opponent and Flash Cannon and Thunderbolt take care of the rest (assuming no resistance). Explosion can usually take an opponent with Magnezone.

Mamoswine
mamoswine.png

Adamant @ Choice Band
Snow Cloak ; 252 Atk, Spd HP, Hp Spd
~Superpower
~Ice Fang
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge

Earthquake + Ice Fang for STAB. Stone Edge for more coverage and Superpower for the same reason. 252 Atk with Choice Band hits pretty hard.

-Staraptor should probably have a Focus Sash, not Gengar.

-Gengar could use a Choice Specs to boost its attack power, or a Choice Scarf to raise its speed.

-If Vaporeon is a Baton Passer, why not teach it Aqua Ring or Acid Armor for an extra effect? I would also recommend a Calm nature for it (+SpD, -Atk). A Wacan Berry can help it stay around longer when its attacked by powerful Electric type attacks.

-Magnezone might want a Modest Nature (+SpA, -Atk). It can learn both Reflect and Light Screen, which will help your sweepers survive longer. (If you want to try teaching your Magnezone either of thos moves, consider giving it Light Clay.)

I liked the item switches. I might try the Acid Armor on Vaporeon and Reflect/Light Screen on Magnezone.
Thanks

Alright, let's get this over with.

I'm sorry for your fear of Recoil. Did you know Life Orb gives Recoil? 10% HP recoil. Sub also knocks out 1/4 of your HP.
That's some mighty fine recoil right there.

---------------------------

I'd say Fake Out over Shadow Claw on Infernape. Helps to break Sashes on some leads, and gets in some free damage.

------------------------

Fly is a BIG no-no. Two turn moves are pretty much worthless. Something is going to switch in that resists Fly and you just lost a turn due to charging. I'm going to say it, switch to Brave Bird. I'm sorry about your fear of Recoil, but you're going to be losing HP with something that frail, anyways.

------------------------

Hypnosis on a ScarfGar? I don't see any point in being locked into Hypnosis.

------------------------

Vaporeon is a better WishPasser, IMO. I'll update this post with the set later on, I have it saved on my computer at home. Without Wish, you have NO HP recovery, which your team desparately needs.

Found it.

Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Bold Nature
188 HP/252 Def/68 Spe
*Water Absorb*
~ Wish
~ Protect
~ Surf
~ Hidden Power {Elec}/{Grass}/Ice Beam

The EVs may be a little out of date, but this set is standard for a reason; it works. Max lefties recovery, Protect for scouting, Wish for Recovery, Surf for STAB. Now, the last slot. HP Electric destroys Gyarados and does a number on Skarm. HP Grass is for other Bulky Waters. Ice Beam is just for coverage.

---------------------------

Mamo's fine.

---------------------------

One-Type boosting moves are ALSO a big no-no competitively. Replace Magnet with Lefties on 'Zone.

I'm not "certified," so you'll probably get better suggestions than this, but think about it for a little bit.

Thanks alot for the info.
I can't/don't want to take the time to breed Fake Out on Infernape, so what else is suggested? Thunder Punch maybe?

I changed Staraptor's Fly to Brave Bird and his Sash to a Life Orb. I moved the items around a little too.

I changed Vaporeon to your suggestion because I thought it was good. I messed with the spread a bit, also.

Thanks again.

T-Punch might be okay, but don't quote me on that. I'm not experienced with LeadApe. I'd test with it, first.

With the Recoil from B-Bird AND Orb, Staraptor might go down a little faster, so I'd also experiment with Lefties on it, just to see which works better for your circumstances.

And you're welcome. : D

just give staraptor a choice band and make him your revenge killer.

mamoswine over tangrowth, since tangrowth is destroyed by scizor and all the pokemon running HP fire to deal with scizor.

Run this Pert set.

Swampert @ Lefties
Relaxed
236 HP 216 Def 56 Atk
SR
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Roar/Surf

236 HP gives optimal lefties and Ice Beam hits harder against Mence (intimidate) and other rocks/ grounds as their defence is usually higher.

What's going on with some of the natures? Adamant Infernape and Staraptor please.

And Modest Magenzone. Although I personally think you should make it bulkier if you're not changing the lineup anymore: it's the only thing that can really swap in on Choice'd dragon attacks and mabye live to tell the tale.

Changed Staraptor to Choice Band.

Won't the double ground between Mamoswine and Swampert open me up to grass?

Why Surf? Waterfall will hurt more. Thanks for the set though.

Yeah I just listed the natures I had at the time. I'll think about the bulkier Magnezone. Thanks.

Lol, Surf is better than Waterfall on Swampert as Swamperts fellow Gound/ Rock types tend to have high base Def and lower Special def.

- Hippowdon
- Swampert
- Ryperior
- Donphan
- Gliscor

etc, etc

Sash is stupid on Gengar with the advent of SR and really you need to fix the natures. I cant be bothered with a proper rate

Infernape, staraptor, gengar and magnezone all resist grass, i'd say you're pretty covered lol.
and surf is better since the things that you'd want to hit with waterfall have a lower SpD than Def.

Alright, I fixed all the natures. Also, I took Sash off Gengar. Any ideas on another item?

Oic. I threw Surf on Pert.

Give gengar life orb or expert belt, depending on wether you want more power or survivabillity.
also max spe on mamo, it's defenses are to frail to warrant the loss of speed for hp investment.

Gengar needs Timid and 252Spe 252SpA

Physical Infernape is better with a CB or SD set

dpmfa392.png

Infernape@Life Orb
Jolly
252Spe 252Att 6Hp
Swords Dance
Close Combat
Fire Punch/Flare Blitz
Stone Edge/Mach Punch

Shadow Claw is not nessicary at all, shall we see why:

Shadow Claw= 70 x 2(super effective damage)=140
Flare Blitz= 120 x 1.5(STAB)=180

so Flare Blitz is always the better option.

calze6

Reclaiming da ladder
give staraptor scarf, give gengar life orb and put hp fire/explosion instead of hypnosis, put gyro ball and hp fire on magnezone for more power and steel killing.
