Well, I'm not much of a Critique, but I'll try...

It's not bad. I like the fact that you used colour, it gives it more life. The shading is decent, as are the fetaures, apart from the nose and mouth. I like the hair. I think he would make a cool Characters, but as you were just experimenting, well done. :)

Hmm... Kinda reminds me of the quiet one from love hina ^^ As the previous poster stated, the nose kinda bugs me, but the mouth just kinda makes her look kinda upset. Still, again, its pretty good.
