Title. Could anyone help me on installing my sound? I download my stuff, and try to install something called 'Soundman', but nothing happens. I don't even have sound control. If you need more info on my comp just ask.

If you don't have volume control, then your sound drivers are not installed correctly or at all - I assume you have speakers plugged into your PC's mainboard, in which case they should have been installed when you loaded up Window$ on it.

But we really do need more information.

Run Belarc, it will tell you what your sound device is, and from there, you need to go and download the appropriate files from the website specific to your sound device.

Okay, I downloaded it and tried extracting something called "Soundman". When I open the extracted version it opens something called "Sound effect", but still no sound. Under volume control, I can't move the volume bar. As in the bar is transparent and I can't even click on it. Thanks for your help guys.

I used alc650_wdm329. It's a custom built computer (obviously not by me). I don't know......is Asus it? Sorry for all the trouble I'm causing you Latios >_>

Sorry if this sounds ridiculous, but you are using Windows XP aren't you? That driver only works for Windows XP.

Also, don't forget to restart after installing etc etc or else you wont see changes.
