My Diamond BT team

At this point I'm on like my 50th attempt to get to 100 at the BT and have a new team to try it. Advice would be appreciated.

Starmie (Timid) @Life orb
Natural Cure
EVs: 252 SP.A, 252 Speed, 4 Hp.
-Psychic
-Surf
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam

I'm using Starmie as my lead, its a good special sweeper with a large coverage area, and its greatest weaknesses are easily switched into by either garchomp or blissey.

Garchomp (Adamant) @???
Sand Viel
EVs: 252 Att., 252 Speed, 4 Hp.
-Dragon Claw
-Sword Dance
-Crunch
-Earthquake

Acting as my Physical sweeper, can easily switch into electric or dark attacks against starmie and its biggest weakness, ice, can be absorbed by starmie or blissey to minimal effect.

Blissey ( Bold) @Leftovers
Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Hp. 252 Def, 4 Sp.A.
-Flamethrower
-Protect
-Softboiled
-Toxic

A wall, really more of a "great wall of china" can take special attacks all day and night, has decent (104) Sp.a to use flamethrower and is pretty much capable of surviving any non-critical hit.

Ok, I managed to get to round 48, where I stupidly used ice beam instead of physic on a roserade, proceeding to lead to starmie being koed, and then when i took down the roserade a salamance was left... blissey didn't stand a chance :(. (I Had lost garchomp to a critical hit from their first pokemon). Gah, so close to fighting the TT for the second time, well time to try again i suppose.

The Torterra Trainer
Swords Dance instead of Thrash for Garchomp.
Blissey, Flamethrower over Icebeam (Starmie already has that covered).

Teams that get to 100+ are almost always TrickScarf leads, so you might want to
think about getting one.

Starmie can use Grass Knot for Swampert, since Surf is a better STAB than
Psychic. You can keep it if you feel that Fighting types are threatening to Blissey.

Garchomp@Leftovers
Jolly / Sand Veil
252Spe / 202Atk / 56Hp
-Substitute
-Swords Dance
-Earthquake / Fire Fang
-Dragon Claw

Your dual STAB moves get perfect coverage so anything else is really redundant.
Substitute protects you from random hax and acts as cover for your Swords
Dance. Fire Fang could be used instead of Earthquake if you don't want to take
the chance against Bronzong or Skarmory.

Blissey wants a Bold nature for more protection against physical attacks.
Blissey, Flamethrower over Icebeam (Starmie already has that covered).
You got it right for the wrong reason xD
This is because Flamethrower hits steels, because they're immune to Blissey's
Toxic. You could also use Wish (If you want to go to the trouble) so you can
heal your teammates, but I think you'll need to migrate a Blissey from the 3rd
gen or something :/

Yea, a wish blissey requires an event I believe, or chain breeding from an event, not something I have the time or patience for. I discovered the hard way that I need that psychic there, after one fighting type managed to ko my entire team at around round 40. then there was round 43 where I made a mistake and then got double haxed -.-

I heard that its around round 200 where trickscarfs become really needed. I could use my cressalia, it ended up with Good Iv's amazingly enough.

Crunch is being used as my protection against prevalent psychic types that none of my other pokemon are good at dealing with.

Do you really think its worth the effort to breed a bold chanesy, since I can't pass on IV's (the one I'm using has 30 hp, I forget the rest), and its only about 10 or so more defense?

You could use Acupressure abuse (Shuckle/Drapion) if you want to use a Trickscarf lead, pseudo-invincibility (Registeel/Garchomp/Lucario/Dragonite), or Memento (Latios/Uxie) to get quite high. These tactics have been tried and tested.

Fair enough.

Cresselia's pree good, I'm not sure about the specific EV's for it but here's the
moveset:
Trick / Flash / Thunder Wave / Light Screen

Crunch is being used as my protection against prevalent psychic types that none of my other pokemon are good at dealing with.
Meh, Psychic types are usually special oriented, so nothing Blissey can't take.
They're also generally very frail so Garchomp can easily KO them with a STAB'd
move.

It is. Mild(-Def, +Sp.A) will cripple you significantly, so the difference is greater,
and with Blissey's gawd horrible defense you'll need as much as you can get.

Well, guess I'll get a blissey like that then... Great, and I still have a box of staryu from getting that one -.-

PS: I hate you right now :(. I have no luck getting what I need, the first one ended up bold with natural cure... and horrid IV's in everything.

Baw, don't be like that :(
It'd probably be easier now since you have a bold one, toss it an everstone and half
of the eggs'll be bold... You can still use Starmie until you feel that the pressure's on,
there's no need for the TrickScarf right away :/

Ohh, I'm using a bold ditto, the issue is getting the right nature/ability and IV's above 10 -.-, my luck sucks. I don't care that its suppose to be 50% odds, my odds are about 1/5 WITH an everstone.

Wow, amazingly after less than 5,000,000,000 steps I got a good one, 27 hp, 21-23 def, 23-27 SpA and, 19 spd and speed

I'm in the low 60's now, Took me a couple tries to beat the Tower tycoon's second match (The regigigas had an ice move I forgot about, so I tried sword dancing garchomp... it ended badly that time).

Still not at 100, (I lost at 62 to a medicham, highly annoying). Any help?

Gah, I was uber haxed, every single hit that team got was critical, EVERY ONE! and I lost by 1 or 2 hp... gah, starting over, again.

Draco meteor is a special move, on chomp that is basically useless.

I would love seismic toss, except I have no way to get it.

Wow, his heatran knows explosion. You learn something new every day. (I had it down to 1 hp, I was down to blissey, obviously that wasn't a good match for me since blissey can't touch heatran. Sadly it used explosion when i didn't use protect :(. And a tie=a loss.

The LO provides a stronger boost and my Starmie still leaves a few pests with a couple hp every time.
