My Drawings

[Gutsman]

Here are my drawings. Right now I only have this one of Flannery.

I used a book that had a tutorial on drawing an adult female and I drew Flannery with it.

Please critizize it and can somebody give me tips on shading?

Nice bikini show, but Flannery kinda looks more of Misty. ^_^; Because her eyes and hair are nothing like the real Flannery we know. They should be red, not orange. Her body needs a little more work also. Other than that, kudos to ya for good try. ^_^

It's a lot better than I could draw two weeks ago. But I'll try harder with the hair... lol!

It's a really nice picture and the backround is cool. Maybe make the lines smoother, but other than that and the hair (which should be red) it is a nice picture. Good Job!

The face is rather....well, the nose is kinda misplaced and her ears and all....
orange,red pfft same thing u got the hair down =). her hips should be a bit wider, and since its a tight swimsuit, her *cough* breasts *cough* should be touching, or at least thats how i draw them, hers are kind of....flabby </lol>
othert than that it is indeed a good first shot at it.

as on tip for shading, and time one object comes before another, immediately after i put a small shadow, u can learn the most by looking at other ppls art =)

The Flannery Pic: The sketch needs some more depth to the outline; I suggest using the Multiply effect to make the lines darker and more defined, and not veined in places. The shading is all right, but you need to paint under the black outline layers, not over them; it's easier so you don't accidentally keep painting over the black lines. Some blending should be better, but you're pretty good with that. The picture itself is very nice, though the background's not so original, and just like old Windows 98 wallpaper material.

I'd give you about 6.5/10

The other picture looks nice even though it looks like crayon, but iuno; putting the plane above a real-life cityscape makes it seem too out of place.

I used colored pencil for the plane and I don't know why I put the plane over the cityscape. It looks weird to me.
