My DS Keeps Freezing

For the past few months my games/DS have been freezing. I have to constantly restart just to get the games to come on and while playing they freeze or delete my save file. It's especially annoying while playing Animal Crossing because I have to deal with Resetti afterwards. Is there anything I can do?

Considering I don't have a job and my parents aren't just going to buy me a new DS in the middle of October, that's not really an option. So, is there anything I could do until I can get a new DS?

You could...uh...watch paint dry! That's always fun. But yeah, you'll have to wait until whenever you can get a new DS.

YOu don't need a new DS.

You need a repair. With warranty, you will get it fixed (or replaced).

Without, you may get a free replacement, but probably get a 30 or so dollar fee.

or you can give it to Nintendo to fix... but for a price

Yeah like everyone else said, if it was within the warranty (however long it is, 12 months? no idea) you should be fine because you chould just send it back to Nintendo and they would fix it for no cost. On the other hand if it's outside the warranty period... :p

You're cool.

Actually, you can call Nintendo and give them the serial number on the back of your DS. Then they can tell if the warrant is still valid.

Call Nintendo and tell them you're problem and try to get a repair for it. That's what I did =P
