My Emerald Battle drawing!

I just finished this and thought I would post it in this section of Fan art. This picture took me roughly 5 hours to draw. I spent 2 hours on Kyogre and Groudon and about 30 mins. on Rayquaza. I also used Prismacolor brand colored pencils to color it and Pigma ink pens to outline it. This took me a lot of time to draw as stated earlier, so use your head and DON'T steal it.

it is awsome. the time you spent on this definetly reflects on how good it is! very nice. one very small problem though, it is hard to see since it is sideways.

This looks like a poster from DVD or whatever. Rayquaza could use yellow line on its back and Ground needs black line on its back too. Anyway, great drawing! Kudos.

Yeah, I know...my scanner is retarded and I couldn't get it to resize right in photoshop. But thank fer the compliment, its feels good when someone appreciates something that you worked on. (That didn't sound arrogant did it? I hope not).
Ground needs black line on its back too.
I did Groudon's lines bluse because in the show and the Emerald version intro, he glows blue (plus I think it looks better blue lol).

Edit: I just relized that the color of Rayquaza's line on his back and everyone's eyes did not show up...that's because I used Neon Yellow fer the eyes and lines instead of regular yellow....oh well, no use crying over spilled milk.

Wow. It is very well drawn. but what are those things behind Kyogre, and shouldn't Groudon have black stripes on his body? o_O

Those "things" you refer to are supposed to be lightning bolts..but they didn't turn out so well...I did Groudon's lines blue because in the show and the Emerald version intro, he glows blue (plus I think it looks better blue lol).

Compare it with the real picture:

But shouldn't Groudon's line be a little dark blue (glowing kind) along with black lines? That way, it'll look like a real Groudon. I forgot to mention that the lightning in the pic is fine. You did really good for drawing this one. Cookie for you! ^_^ Kudos.

I LOVE Prismacolors!
And good picture! It looks like it was done with markers or another smooth medium. I just think it looks a little flat but that's to expect from pencils.
Impressive drawing skills too, I can draw only a few Pokemon. I cant even draw Pikachu!

That's bloody awesome 0_0

Especially with pencil crayons! Bravo. Comparing yours to the official art, I see very few errors. 5 hours is actually pretty reasonable too. I'm impressed.

That looks really impressive. The Pokemon look really realistic. ^^ The only thing that doesn't really make sense is the blue pattern on Groudon... But again, great job! You must really have worked hard on it. ^_^

Awesome. Simple awesome.
The way you handle colour pencils is jus' aweosme.
About the side-view, you can just flip it in windows fax viewer (xp) or select all, right-click and flip/rotate, then ok(in piant, all win. versions).

+claps+ Exceptionally good! I wish I had the traditional media skills that you do. And kudos for actually doing a background -- something that I certainly am not going to attempt -- plus, it came out nicely. I do think that it could stand to have more detail, but that's kinda hard to do with pencils and stuff.

I do have one suggestion, though -- eyeballing [copying a picture by looking at it] isn't really the best way to do fanart, even though it's common. I think you could do wonderful original poses and concepts. It's best to break away from copying things that exist already and branch out with your art. ^^
