My Firered Team needs rating. Please rate out of ten. I rate my team 7/10.

(Usually I don’t use Legendaries, but since I got this from my friend’s Pokèmon Channel, I decided to use it).

- Surf
- Yawn
- Rest
- Snore

(I’ve heard Snorlax can be a tank, so I decided to use it).

(My loyal starter I’ve had since it was a Charmander and I’ve always used it).

If anyone can recommend any other Pokèmon for me, please say. I did have a Raichu and a Gyarados, but when I decided to forget about Pokèmon, my friend wanted them, so I gave them to him. I can’t be bothered to raise another two.

Jirachi (Modest Nature if you can) @Leftovers
-Psychic
-Calm Mind
-Thunderbolt/Thunder/Ice Punch
-Wish

Jirachi is a Sp.Attacker mainly, so Swift is useless. Calm Mind is used to charge up. Future Sight and Doom Desire pretty much do the same things, but why attack later when you can attack now? Wish is used to recover Hp.

Snorlax (Adamant/Brave/Impish/Relaxed/Sassy/Careful... but Sassy/Careful are the best) @Leftovers
-Return/Body Slam
-Curse
-Rest
-EQ/Shadow Ball

Snorlax is a tank with Curse. This set is so much fun. If you don't want to rebreed for Curse... well.... Yawn can work I guess. :/ Snorlax has a terrible Sp.Attack, so Surf won't do much of anything against anyone.

Charizard (Hasty/Jolly/Adamant/Naive/Lonely Nature if you can) @Leftovers...
-Flamethrower/Fire Blast
-Aerial Ace/Wing Attack (WA ingame)
-Rock Slide/EQ
-Swords Dance

You really don't need 3 Fire attacks here. Blast Burn is the worst Fire Attack since you have to recharge strength, and that missed turn could be trouble. Swords Dance to charge up, then use the physical attacks. Fly is fine ingame... but AA/WA can be better since you don't have to waste a turn.

Sorry, I didn't know that. Anyway thanks for your suggestions. My :snowlax: Snorlax has gotten to Lv37 and has learnt Body Slam, which has replaced Yawn. If anyone has any suggestions for some more Pokèmon (Grass and a Water type), please post here. I'll wait for more suggestions before trying out anything else.

I do own a ;120; Staryu in my PC, that I trained a while ago, but I decided I didn't want to use it. I'll consider training it again.

;357; Tropius on the other hand, I would have to get off my Sapphire. So I would need to use my friend's GBA.

If you really need Surf you can use Lapras or something like that. Even Nidoking/Queen can learn Surf!

The fat text is done by me Maybe you should train a water pkmn like Gyarados/Lapras. Dragonite and/or Tyranitar would be a very good addition to your team, and Mewtwo is always usefull too. Dragonite can learn Surf, but you should teach Surf only to him when you make a Dragon Dancer of him (High SP. Atk & SP. Def)

I think thats a pretty gud team n pokemon get rid of surf on snorlax and put in something like return for when its been trained n put in rock slide on charizard over fire blast
