My first EVER trainer revamp, C&C please.

ok so here is my first EVER trainer revamp, it is Ash/Red, the one you fight in MT.Silver in pokemon crystal:

C&C please. Tell me how I can improve and if it is any good

Not bad, but I'd prefer you not use black for most of the outlines. Find a darker color to shade the outlines.

Oh, and Ash =/= Red .

P.S. What do you mean by Ash=/= Red?

EDIT: I changed some of the hat's black outline. Is this any better?

Yeah, it looks better. The left sleeve shuold have a lighter outline though.

Oh, and by that I mean Ash is not the same person as Red.

P.S. Ya I know Ash isn't Red, but Ash was based on Red, or the Red/Blue starter trainer guy.
