I got PS about three days ago and after watching dozens of tutorials, finally made some stuff worth posting. These are in the order I made them.

The effects you've added over them (the scratching) really doesn't help aesthetically. Keep them looking crisper and clearer and keep up with the tuts.

Wow that's some really nice stuff. Particularly considering how you only just got to the program. I've had it for about a year and some of the stuff you have there is superior to the stuff I can create (although I haven't viewed many tuts, maybe you could point me in that direction? ).

They look good for your first attempts, can you show each step you did ? I'd like to see how many work you put into that I use Photoshop for about 2 years now, but I rarely use it. Glad to see some people working hard

I really like the Fire of Life banner, being a wolf-fan and all.
I'm no expert with banners or photoshop, but why not? Your banners seem pretty striking and eye-catching, I'd request one if had nay idea what kind of banner to ask for; go for it!

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'll open a shop when I get used to making banners out of images that don't have a blank background.

I've never seen somebody get the hang of PS so fast, well done. I think you're quite ready to open a shop, you'll get enough practice and you'll improve because you'll make banners with images and concepts other members have chosen.

About the top one, work on the colors using Image > Adjustments > Selective Color/Match Color/Color balance.
It'll work ;]

EDIT: Make them blend in and dull the render, he's too contrasting.

A work in progress. I plan on fixing the light source and erasing that blue smudge on her arm. What else do you suggest?

I know hardly anything about the Zelda games, but I love it! I like the patterning down the side, as well as the colouring, it all looks very nature-based. What are the verses on the left-hand side about?

Thank you pirate555, that was my first attempt at using an image that already had a background and it seems it was a success. The small text in the corner is actually just a Photoshop brush and it actually doesn't say anything.
