"hm...this person isn't that good with banners"

Thank you for the compliments, and I wish I could get rid of those first few banners but they really show how I've improved. And I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

These are pretty sweet. I know nothing of Photoshop's capabilities to do these sorts of things, so I can really appreciate these. Crazy graphical design is something I can't do but always liked seeing.

By the by, are you re-opening your request shop, now that your PS seems to be fixed? I may drop by there and request something.

Wow these banners are professionally done! Even though i'm not a fan of megaman, the banners you do of him are done with extreme care and patience (even if there not, they sure look like it). I also love your sig =D!

Could you tell me some of they things you use when making banners? I can see brushes, textures, and filters. Some colour effects also, but yeah... It'd be nice to know what you do to a banner.

I read on the first post that you wanted to know how to blend a render into a background[something similar, anyway], use textures to achieve that. Look at this banner, I got the scratchy, vintage, blended effect by using scratch textures. Throw them on, set them to screen, CTR + J them, invert them, move and set to multiply. There, you have a black and white scratch effect.

Also, Layers > Layer styles and fiddle around in there. Use exposure, play with it.

I used to do worse banners than the ones you posted in the first post, trust me. ;D

This crit is probably useless to you, but meh.

One thing bothers me though....
That one Link banner... I recognise the picture you used. A DeviantART artist, correct? I just think you should give them credit, beleive me, you wouldn't want a big bunch of people calling you an art theif, we artists are sensitive about our stuff being used without our permission. You understand that, right?
