i didnt stole it. i just wanted to try it with the same pokemon thats all. oh yah its looks the same cause i fallowed the rules. check its tail their not the same and the lines i have some green 1 and in the tutorial there are black

1) Save as a JPEG. Save as a PNG.
2) RESIZE!!!!11

Id recomend not using a already made sprite just for the reason of not being called a sprite theft, and save as PNG of GIF never BIMP or JGP errr w.e other wise if it was normal sized its OK

Try to refrain from using the same one a famous sprite (People are likely to suspuct something defenilty if it's your first), anyway as for the second one please,please don't save as a JGP

1st: he didn't stole it, it's just a good try for a first.
2nd: it's not a recolour, it has mew's tail.

now, you must never resize sprites, they're made to work pixel by pixel, just zoom in when you're making them.
also, don't save them as .jpg, that just makes them really bad quality, save as .png, it's the best format.
and also, you don't need to use so much space for it, so when you finish it, try putting it in the farest left, then resize the image to be the same size as the sprite. that makes it faster to upload and show on hte internet.

just keep trying, and it's a really really really good thing that you're using tutorials. now try maybe something really simple, like a pikachu/marril mix to start.
