But I'd like to tell a bit more of this Suicune one...

All those I've highlighed w/ red are unbearable mistakes.
The moon CAN NOT POSSIBLY be in front of the mountains! And it looks like a giant discoball with holes.
The ledge where Suicune sits can't disappear! Draw the full line!
The reflection of the moon on the lake is every thing than honest to the moon itself.
Go fix the mistakes, you must.[/yoda]

There is no "average" when it comes to ANY kind of art. Even fanart.



They're not too bad. There are some mistakes, but they are simple to fix. Don't give up becuase you're not great at first,and don't let other get you down! Keep drawing and you'll become much better!

Listen to Prof.Rockets advice. The main thing you need is more contrast in your shading, basically just shade more.Your lugia one is the best one, so go and shade that in a bit more,also remember because you have the moon in your pic, to know where the light shines on Lugia.When your done just come back and show us. If you want i will do one myself??But i still got to do 5 other people's requests.

The age doesn't tell everything about your ability. You can be 30 years old and you still can draw like a 2 years old. Belive me, I've seen those guys.
Somethimes it depends on how much you have drawn during your life, but not always on that. It's based more on luck than experience.

Okay, down with the crits.

Lugia:

The feet are kind of too skinny. Normally the feet would be big fluffy pads. The spikes at the end of the tail, is too small. Alright, let me point out what is wrong.

Th epose itself is wrong. Lugia doesn't look good when it looks like that. The neck cranes in too much, and what is it looking at? It isn't standing, and it isn't sitting, yet the feet are up in the air. The wings are folded at the sides and it looks unbearably smushed.

The cloud doesn't look right, and the moon has to be round. Not a bit deformed. Not everyone can see the craters, so the craters don't have to be there.

The head of the Lugia is fine, but the body has to be larger than that.

All the Legendaries:

I can't see all the details...but...Why does Jirachi look like it has a three fingered glove on its head?

Registeel's left arm is too long and wobbly.

The Celebi's head looks like a bean.

The unknown is to crooked.

Moltres's body needs to be larger.

Deoxys's is too small for its head, and the arms have to be long and sleek.

Latios's arms are too small and skinny.

Suicune's snout is too pointy.

The Regirock, only looks like a heap of rocks, put unorderly.

Lucario's snout is too deformed.

Mewtwo's arms aren't even straight. His right arm looks like it had been bended.

In reality, Mewtwo's left hand is shorter than his right.

Other than that, I see many other mistakes, that I couldn't see clearly.

Suicune:

The legs are to small and skinny. The Suicune doesn't even look like its sitting. The purple mane looks like a huge glop of hair. The moon looks bad, because of the holes in it. The paws seem deformed.

Age doesn't matter, and when you started drawing doesn't matter. Yes, age is an excuse. Please, if you are going to say that you are young, and you can't draw so well, then don't mention your age at all. It brings confusion.

I rate:

Lugia: 4/10

Legendaries: 2/10

Suicune: 6/10

The legendaries in the background seems rushed....And it is a fact.

Lugia was in the middle of flapping. ANd remember in the movie that he was hardly flapping his wings while levitating.Once again, pokemon are made up creatures.

Yes, I know that pokemon are made-up creatures, and that's not an excuse for not having perfect anatomy. An artist can stretch far beyond the walls of reality, but still can have perfect anatomy.

Yes, that's partly because it is a psychic type.

Okay....eight years old...background...got it. You just made the background, and I can't seem to make out what it is...though you just copied and pasted a sprite in the middle.

Right, the head is a bit too big, just to let you know. And...nice shading.

Right, you drew this when you were nine. I could tell. You drew the shadow but not the background. It just looked like you just drew a deformed shadow in a thunder and lightning background. The left wing looks a bit skinnier than the right.

You drew the shadow when you were seven. The background is too good to be drawn by a seven-year old. So all you did was just draw it in, and then somehow you added glitter.

The head looks bent completly over, and the wings are deformed. It's not possible for Lugia to have a bump right down its back. There's lines that you still have to erase.

Okay, I must say that the second picture looks fie, but it has a few flaws. Though I really like it colored.

Oh well, gotta go.

I partially used already- Drawn Backgrounds.Also, I just Found these in folders that I would like to show. That's Why they look weird, I drew them without concentrating.The glitter came from the program I was using Disney's Magic Artist Deluxe.
