My First Revamp

I got bored, so I decided to "try" and start revamping. I acually made five, but I deleted four of them because I didn't like them, and should just start over. Anyways, I liked the first one I did, so I thought I'd get it criticized.

Suggestions?

Please none of that "They look good, but you could do better." comments because they don't help... at all.

Well, it's really good. Nothing really bad at all.

Well, It's pretty good, although there are some issues with the outlining and shading. You need to put in a few more reverse dots. Other wise it's pretty good. Well done!

Yeah, I know the shading sucks on the bottom foot. Can anyone post an example of how I could shade the feet? Because I have no idea...

Trust me... they were terrible. I'm now just going to focus on one sprite now, and work on it until it looks pretty decent. That's why I need more people to critique. I can't edit the sprite right now since I'm not at my house, but I'll do it once I get home.

That's really good for a first revamp. The dithering on its wings (the translucent ones) is unneeded though... and yes, the shading on the feet is wonky. The bottom right (your right, not ledian's) hand's shading goes completely opposite all the others.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, the dithering looked kind of funky to me. Although when I tried to make it a solid color, I couldn't make it look right. I'll try again later.

I hate the feet -.- Any suggestions on how to fix it? I can't seem to find a way to make it look right.

Hmm, you're right about the hand thing. I'll go fix it when I get home.

Wow. REALLY good for a first revamp! I am VERY impressed with the standard of you revamp! Most newbie revamps are just pathetic recoloures with no shading, just normal MS paint standard colours.
But good work, you should look at the Emerald ladian sprite outlines; place them in the appropiate places
I can't wait to see more!

Yeah, the outlines do need a lot more work now that I look at it. I'll have to also edit that when I get home.

Things to edit:
-Outline
-Foot and Hand Shading
-Wings

Again, if someone could help me with the foot and how to shade it properly, it would be appreciated.

I'm not sure. Once I was done, I was going to ask for a suggestion from people. I'm not taking them now though, as I want to focus only on Ledian for now.
