my first scratch

allright. today i made my first scratch sprite, and i want to know if i should continue making them. so, here it is:

I like V2 a lot better than V1. It looks a lot better. Keep working at it. I can't wait to see if you do any new scratches. It's a lot better than my first attempt at my fakemon Lunea.

Hey, those are nice! Most newbie scratch sprites look blocky with a very shaky shape, but your shapes are perfectly smooth. Nice job on that.

Right now, I just have to suggest that if you want to make them look like authenic Pokémon sprites, you need to use fewer shades and shade the outlines much more. Also, while the shape of the outline is smooth, the shape of the shading isn't. You should always make the outline of the shading carefully too.

Otherwise, good job.

I agree with Dragonfree.Those are really good for a novice.Try to make em look more like an official sprite.You know, less shade, more shades on outline, etc

i made a new one, but i made it before i was able to see your comments, so it is in the same style as the previous ones:

well, not excatly the same style. i made it on a different computer, so the outline is different compared to the other two.

i made an evo for the water blob. it was supposed to be a poison type, and should be looking more dangerous than the blob, but i think it looks cuter.

anyway,

i don't know which one i should pick. the difference is in the eyes, the right one looks more evil, i think.
