It's ok, but you might want to work on the head. To me, it's too small and the shoulders could be a little less broad.

Alright, where to start...
Well, first off, I don't see any resemblance to the D&P hero - if anything, more to Red, Ash or the main hero from R/B/G/Y with a recoloured shirt from Brendan/Ruby/Male hero of R/S/E...
Now, onto the actual critique. First off, scale. I myself have problems with scale as well. The head of your character is far too small. It's odd and creepy looking. The hands are far too squashed, it looks like the actual palms were shortened. The arms seem a bit odd, but it might just be scale or the head throwing the picture off... They are definitely too skinny, though, and flat. Arms have SOME curve, especially near the elbow.
And try not to colour with markers or draw on lined paper. Marked bleed and smudge, and it looks really ugly. And line paper is distracting and too easily wrinkled. If anything, just buy a pack of printer paper.

His head is too angular, if you look at your proportions does your head look like a perfect pentagon, no it looks sort of like an egg with slightly straight sides. Next the neck looks like he was cross bred with some type of giraffe creature. Does your neck look ten feet long and skinny. The neck should be wider and shorter. The shoulders are way to broad! They do not fit the size of the neck! It is a rule I learned in art that the neck has to be at least 1/6 the size of the shoulders. Your neck should be bigger than the head! Those arms creep me out. They're too straight! And the hands suck. I'm not saying I'm good at drawing hands but mine resemble hands not stubby little appendages. The waist and torso is to large, he looks like a body builder with stubby little legs! The legs seriously do not match the torso. On to the attire and etc! The clothes do not look anything like Haeteru (what Diamond is called in the manga coming out soon! btw)! They look like you took Ash's clothing and recolored it. The hair is just plonked on your character! The hair grows, it is not just plonked on! Your eyes are awful. The nose and mouth are fine. But your ears are positioned way too high! They are to be placed at nose level! And don't use LINED paper, use printer paper. And only use markers for outlining. I prefer ball point or old fashioned pens where you dip it in the ink, but that's me.
