my first Trainer card and my first not horibble mix

well actually they are both horrible and i didn't recolor wobbufets parts because i can't shade for my life ok now i did so here it is after

I guess the TC is good, but I am not good at giving TC crit at all...

But the mix I'll give some crit. Well, aside from, as you said, about recoloring its parts, maybe you should just mix two pokemon so it's easy to recolor it, and also so you can add more to Wobbufet than just add random parts. So you only need one base (Wobbufet) and one other pokemon.

Your main problem is that all you do is copy and paste parts of sprites onto bases. >> For instance, even the Trainer Card itself is like this. It's all choppy- the name in the top right hand corner was pasted and is messy, still with white on it. Also, the Pokémon aren’t properly in their boxes- what you should do is take the box, paste it onto the area of the sprite you want to put, and then put that on the Card. It’s okay, otherwise, but nothing special.

Now, with the mix, again, all you did was copy random parts from other Pokémon and stick them onto Wobbufett. NOT a good idea. Not only do you have to recolor them as previously mentioned, but you also have to customize the parts- fix them so they blend in with the sprite so the parts look like they belong on it. The fact that you stuck them on awkwardly in weird spots doesn’t help.

I suggest you read the tutorials- there’s a whole Sticky of them, so it’s hard to miss. Also, look more carefully at the Pokémon sprites and try to get a better feel of them and how it works with shading, coloring and so on. Also, maybe check out the sprites of some other members here. You seem like the kind of person who learns better from example.

Well, they're ok, but like everyone else said, don't save it as jpg. And the mix is pretty cool, just recolor with more of Torchic's colors. If you need a place that doesn't have jpg, try here. Or (just learn this from Hazy Leaf, thanks) when you save, it says under the name 24-bit Bitmap (*.bmp;*.dib). Click on the arrow and it'll say at the bottom PNG (*.PNG). Click on that. There ya go! A PNG!

The Tc is good just don't makie way to graiesh...the mixes : you need to insert more parts from the other pokemon to make it better also some parts are never ment to be mixed with so you better scratch it to make it better......keep going on the the roud of spriting.

Just fix the background on the TC and it should be fine. It's just that the background looks streched and weird.
