My friend needs help...

Yes, my friend from school, known as "Scarecrow", has registered for the forums, but when he tries to post, he gets this message:

Scarecrow, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

It's been like that for 24 hours. Could someone please help?

Everyone experiences this "unactivated" state after registering. Your friend may need to wait a while before he can post on the forums. Time between registration and activation is indefinite. (I waited for four days.)

I had to wait four months (I was a complete forum newb and didn't think of making another account XD). They'll probably be able to post by this weekend so just have them be patient.
