When I went to western cave with my level 68 Swampert, a Kangaskhan attacked me with Comet Punch. It did 74 damage then 75 damage. My reviver seed didn't work at all either. I never had a stat reduction on the floor and if I did, it wouldn't make my defense dramatically low.
Anyways:

My Swampert's defense is solid. And also, if I did get killed I would've gotten mad and remembered it until like...a week later or so?

Item master doesn't matter. Revivier Seeds are automatically used UNLESS, you die from poison, die from hail/sandstorm, teammate falls into pitfall trap.

EDIT: BTW you don't need Item Master as the leader.

That happened to me too...

I was a level 30 Pikachu, and a Pidgey from Tiny Woods killed me in one tackle(700 damage? WHAT??!!), and my Reviver Seed... DIdn't work?

Item master wasn't on. Look at the info for item master. It says it also makes revivor seeds work.

Yeah but how do you explain the 74 and 75 damage that was dealt to me. Nothing happened to my stats before. My Swampert's defenses are also solid T_T

uh, yes, item master does matter. ive already tested it out.

Mabie is just died, it is a move anything is possible a lv 1 vine whip CAN kill a level 100 ho-oh... just how the game is.

I had the same thing happen to me in Western Cave a long time ago, and I made a thread about it too. A Hariyama used Arm Thrust on my level 57 Ho-oh and did over 250 damage with each hit, hitting me 5 times in a row. I think Western Cave randomly throws in Pokemon with INSANELY high stats just to keep you on your toes or something.
