My Hero Academia!- The Federal Academic Institution of Extraordinaries (PG-15) SignUp

I awaken! After periods of inactivity, I decided to try again with something based off of My Hero Academia! Here we go!

---------------------------------------------------------
When the luminscent baby was born, everything changed forever.

Humanity began being born with strange and supernatural capabilities. The Age of Heroes had begun. Over time, the amount of people with Quirks outnumbered the people who were born without them, confirming that it was just the rise of the new human (though when animals became born with Quirks, this also caused quite the stir to say the lea

With the rise of Quirks, various institiutions and organizations have rose up to deal with the rising population of people with Quirks. With the rise of heroic individuals, there were those who tried to exploit their fantastic new powers in the name of evil or for selfish purposes. While locations like U.A. High are open for talented youngsters to join in, other places are not the same and follow procedure differently.

Such is the case with the Federal Academic Institution of Extraordinaries in the United States of America. Founded by government agent and educator Xavier Clarkson, it was created so the government could safely take care and instruct gifted individuals. While some go on to join Hero organizations upbroad, others end up being becoming civil servants for the various Quirk-related factions of the government or become part of the local Hero agencies somewhere in the Unites States. While considered among the top-tier with some comparing it to the legendary U.A High School, a good deal of secrecy regarding logistics and higher purposes as well as the special mandates on being a government facility have made it unable to be judged by traditional academic standards.

Nonetheless though, the school is highly spoken of and they are relatively transparent on matters such as everyday life, the duties and so on regarding becoming a student and later graduate of the FAIE.

While the institution initially accepted students with powerful Quirks, as the population shifted and a greater number of unlicensed vigiliantes were able to succeed with moderate or mild quirks, the educational system was revamped to be more inclusive. Formally known as the Educational Federal Bureau of Quirks, everything changed when a certain incident happened. When a former valedictorian turned villain, she was stopped by a Quirkless unlicnesed vigiliante, relying merely on constructed technologies. The Bureau was thoroughly revamped into the FAIE. This was done not only to include Quirkless extraordinary individuals, but others who possessed specific anomalies, such as cyborgs leftover from the Tomorrow Foundation and other uncategorical individuals who possess Extraordinary capabilities.

Either through application or examination by agents, you have been selected for your capabilities to become a student of the FAIE.

While public and private schools now have programs for Quirk-users, the FAIE looks for the best and brightest to be let in. They see past the various troubles and problems to bring out the inner good each young person has to offer to the world. Whether you have a Quirk, whether you are a normal human with inciredible smarts or talents, or whether you became a cyborg or however you were experimented on, you have the potential to benefit society and start a new life for yourself, hero!

You will face various dangers from current and former organizations, rebellious factions and unforeseen evils who threaten US and even the world. However, with your comrades, you will stand tall!

As the World's Symbol Of Peace And Justice, the great All-Might said, "You Can Become A Hero!"

Why not both?
Ah-ha! I've always wanted to a My Hero Academia RP. I aways thought that series was great for RPs anyways. I'm not sure if I'll have enough time to post consistently, but can I have a reserve for now?

Monster Guy

Fairy type Trainer
Ever since that Christmas RPG, I've been dying to use this version of Leo again. :p

Name: Leonardo "Leo" Silverstone
Heroic Alias: Sugarplum
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk: Candy Magic, Emitter Quirk. Leo has the ability to produce candy through molecular manipulation of sugar. The more sugar he eats, the more material he has to work with. For this reason, he is able to eat as much dessert as he wants without gaining weight. He can make regular candy, weaponized candy to combat opponents, or candy with special effects to support allies.
Arsenal: Jetpack provided by FAIE that is made to resemble wings made of candy that allow Leo to fly.

pu2g.png
<--This is how it's supposed to look. I tried to make it on Recolor, but they do not have the necessary items...

Appearance: Leo is a tall young man, standing at 6'0". He is physically fit and quite strong, with a toned athletic physique that he is quite proud of. Due to living in a tropical place most of his life, and because he often goes outdoors, his skin is lightly tanned. His face is round, free of blemishes, and rather boyish. Marked by large expressive blue eyes, a small nose, and a usually smiling mouth. These features give him a rather youthful appearance. He has short, close cropped black hair, with messy bangs that cover his forehead, and go to his eyebrows. A strand of hair on top of his head always stands up, no matter how much he tries to comb it down. He doesn't mind it though, thinking it makes his hair more distinctive. Except for the top of his head, and eyebrows, the rest of his upper body is void of any hair.

For clothing, Leo generally wears what is comfortable. Usually whatever he pulls out of his closet that day. It usually includes a pair of jeans or cargo shorts, and sneakers or sandals on his feet. He can often be found without a shirt. This is because he was rather scrawny when he was younger, so now that he's put on a little muscle, he likes to show off the results. When he must wear a shirt, it will usually be a skintight tank top, or something low cut/not buttoned/zipped up all the way, and without a shirt underneath. He's not comfortable wearing cloaks or heavy clothing that covers him up too much. He will dress up for formal occasions and colder days when he needs to, but he usually takes it right off when he's able. He wears a pair of red aviator goggles on top of his head. He doesn't use them, he just thinks they look cool. His favorite outfit is a red, sleeveless, muscle shirt, with a pink V-neck, and a pair of jeans held up by a belt on the bottom. His sneakers are red and white, and have wheels in the soles. The wheels can pop in and out when Leo puts weight on his heels, allowing them to function like roller skates. He carries his things in a simple pink backpack.

His superhero outfit is inspired by dancer's wear. and is easy to to move around in. His uniform is completely skintight. First the top half is a leotard that is pink with red trims, and has peppermint candies assorted on the chest area, and on his hips. It is shoulderless, sleeveless, and backless to allow the wings to come through. Next, the bottom, which was a pair of white tights with peppermint candies held in place by pink ribbons on his ankles, and white ballet slippers on his feet. Lastly, a red and white crown made of peppermint candy, appeared on his head to complete the look. He wears a jetpack that is made to look like candy colored pink butterfly wings on his back.

Personality: Leo is a bright, cheerful person, with an optimistic view on life. He can often be found with a smile on his face, even when things look bleak. As such, he often makes jokes, and does silly things when the situation is tense to lift people's spirits, but his attempts to make people laugh sometimes backfire. He believes there is some good in everyone, and for that, he is very trusting of others. A genuine nice guy, he is always willing to help someone in need. Often putting the needs of others ahead of his own. After his parents divorce, and dealing with bullying, Leo is able to empathize with others in a similar situation. He makes it his personal mission to befriend and help people like this. Sometimes though, he can be too nice, to the point of gullibility, and people often take advantage of him for it. Leo is very outgoing and social. He likes meeting new people, and making new friends. He is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a random stranger. Being used to having to watch over his little sisters, he's become accustomed to taking care of people. He is loyal, empathetic, and very protective of those he cares about, making him a good friend to have.

Leo is very energetic. So much so, that it is very difficult for him to sit still and concentrate on one thing for long periods of time. Because of this, he likes to actually do stuff, instead of sitting there reading about it. While he is able to think quick on his feet during intense situations. he often acts impulsively, and jumps to conclusions without thinking first. Unlike a lot of guys he's known, Leo is the type of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. His feelings are there for everyone to see, and he's pretty easy to read. For example he cries openly during the endings of sad movies, and is affectionate towards close friends. Due to his cheerful nature, it is usually difficult to anger him. That said, Leo is not perfect, and is prone to having a bad day just like everyone else. When things becoming overwhelming, he has really bad angry outbursts where he just lashes out at the most appropriate target. Leo isn't one to hold grudges for very long, and is very quick to forgive people.

Leo has an affinity for cute things, and is not ashamed about it at all. One of his favorite things at the moment is the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, which he watches regularly with his youngest sister. He is an unabashed Brony, he has a collection of merchandise from the show, and often makes references to it in everyday conversation. He's aware how silly it might look for someone his age to be liking a show aimed at little girls, and generally he has a good sense of humor about the whole thing. (However, he does get defensive if someone makes fun of him for it.) He's had bad experiences with bullies as a kid, and he fears having to experience that again. He likes fantasy and fairy tales, and he developed most of his idealistic beliefs from them. He also likes other things some would consider childish as well. He can cook well, due to having to make dinner for the family when his mom was working. He particularly enjoys making (and eating) desserts. This is because he's found that sharing sweets with others is a great way to bond with people.

Despite his optimism, Leo still has some insecurities from his childhood. He masks it with a smile and laughter most of the time. but it still lingers in the back of his mind. These feelings are what drive him to get stronger, and to make more friends. Those same reasons are why he dresses the way he does. and takes opportunities to show off his strength without actually bragging. He doesn't want to have to deal with bullies ever again, and he feels like getting people to like him means they can't be bullies.

History: Leo was born in Miami Florida. He was the oldest of three siblings, and the only male among the three. His parents' relationship became strained after his father, Leroy, lost his job shortly after the youngest daughter was born, and the family started experiencing financial troubles. It was not helped by Leroy turning to Wine to drown his sorrows, which worried the rest of the family. Leroy and his wife, Luisa, often argued loudly during the night. While things never escalated to physical violence, but the yelling still made the three kids uncomfortable. Despite the drama, Leo tried to put on a brave face, and hoped things would work out in the end. Eventually Luisa got a promotion at her job that made up for the loss of income, but by then the damage was done, and Leroy filed for divorce.

Leo currently lives with his mom, and his younger sisters Lilly and Lucy. He is much closer to his mother than with his father. They were not wealthy, but they weren't poor either. Being a single parent, Luisa often had to work long hours, leaving Leo responsible for looking after his sisters, and taking care of household things while she worked. Unlike a lot of other boys though, Leo didn't really mind this, and actually enjoyed it. As a result of this, he became accustomed to taking care of people. He also learned a lot of domestic skills, and became very good at cooking.

Leo always enjoyed desserts and sweets. From a very young age, whenever he was craving something sweet, he found some candy had magically appeared in his hands. He didn't know how it got there, but he certainly wasn't complaining about it. He always experimented with his powers, to test the full extent of his abilities. Leo wasn't very subtle with the use of his abilities at all, and it wasn't long before Leo's mother found it out about her son's quirk. This type of ability was common on her side of the family, although it skipped her generation, and it usually manifested in the women. He particularly enjoyed science and cooking classes in school. Where he could apply his candy quirk, and learn how to make various types of candy, such as candy with medicinal property.

He was a rather scrawny child, and he was often picked on by bullies who thought he was weaker than them. It did not help that he was a sensitive kid, and he had a taste for things that are usually considered girly by others. He would come home with bruises on a regular basis. His father did not help matters by suggesting that living in a house full of girls was turning him into one. While all the bullying upset him, he kept up a cherful demeanor in front of others, not wanting to burden them with his problems. He believed that if he thinks positively, things would get better. Even though Leo admits to himself that he doesn't get along with his dad, and he will avoid talking about him to others, he still doesn't hate him. He clings to the hope that they will be able to reconcile.

Around the time Leo entered puberty, things started to change. His mother announced that her office was transferring her to New York City, and that the family would be moving there. While he was nervous about moving to a new state, Leo remained positive. Moving to a new place gave him the opportunity to change his situation. Deciding that he no longer wanted to be a wimp, and a constant bullying victim. He started working out and getting into sports, which resulted in him putting on a little muscle, and making new friends. Due to his social personality, he quickly became quite popular on campus, particularly with other girls. He also maintained good grades. Life was actually starting to look up. Despite how well things were going, he didn't let it get to his head. He still remained the same sensitive kid he always was. Now a senior in high school, Leo has begun to think about his future. He is unsure what he wants to do with his life.

He eventually attracted the attention of an FAIE agent. Who helped Leo apply, and train him to use his abilities for something other than instant snacks. Leo was more excited to become a superhero more than anything.

Other:
- Leo is half Italian on his mother's side. He understands and speaks some of the language.
- Leo has had crushes on both males and females before, but he doesn't feel comfortable labeling himself.
- He took ballet lessons when he was younger, and incorporates it into his fighting style.

Sure! One Reserve right up! Spread the word please!

@ Monster Guy: Good to see you! Though you need to work on your Quirk in regards to stengths and weaknesses (he kinda reminds me of Creaty's Quirk and Sugar Man's Quirk so look at those on the wiki as well as general other Quirks.) Go into the details of it. Beyond that, you should probably make him younger, with 16 at most since it is a high school like setting. The outfit is good as long as it allows him to move and fight well.

-----------------------------------------------------

Name: Diego Vendrix
Heroic Alias: Spellbound
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk: Illusion (Emitter Class)- Capable of creating illusions on various targets for the purpose of deception and misdirection. From creating people who are not there to hiding objects. Includes both vocal and ocular illusions. However, illusions only last up to five minutes before vanishing and within a radius of 25 meters and expanding the radius lessens the duration of the illusions. Also vulnerable to sneak attacks to disrupt illusions of not prepared.
Arsenal:
* Spell Staff- Used to better concentrate and form illusions. Also functions as a combat weapon. Five feet tall, it is made out of a strong metal with a blue sphere grasped on top. The stave has three buttons in the middle. One releases a burst of intense light to disorient enemies and better set illusions. The sceond unleashes a burst of electricity when in contact with the opponent (much like a taser). The third functions as a flashlight/torch for dark places. Must be recharged.
* Smokebombs- Carried in a side bag; they are homemade smokebombs used to create intense and colorful, but short-lasting smokescreens.

Physical Description: Diego stands about the average height for a male, but he appears shorter than he is due to his stocky and mildly wide build. A combination of fat and muscle, Diego is stronger than he appears and while lacking muscular arms, his legs are pretty toned. His skin is a light olive; while he could pass for a Caucasian, people can tell he isn’t exactly white per say. Recently, he has gotten tanner, due to working at an amusement park for some months as a custodian, though he’s still paler than your average Mexican. He has a youthful looking face and could still pass as a high-schooler when clean-shaven. His eyes are a chocolate brown and they tend to be pretty expressive to those who pay attention.

Diego’s sense of style is pretty casual and wears what he feels like. However, he does like wearing nerdy pop culture t-shirts, with some of his shirts he got from donating blood at conventions. Beyond his t-shirts, he wears cargo shorts during warm weather and wears cargo pants in cold weather. He likes having the pockets to be able to carry things, just in case. Occasionally, he’ll wear jeans or sweatpants however. During the cold weather, he tends to wear a fleece windbreaker with zipper pockets or even a hoodie with an earband and gloves to keep himself warm. He would also normally wear running shoes that’s gray or black. Besides his clothes, he tends to wear a digital watch and of course, his InstaShade glasses.

His superhero outfit is based on the outfits of fantasy magicians. Consists of dark blue pants and undershirt with black shoes, it als has a jacket with hidden pockets and is completed with a short cloak with a hood. His jacket and the back of his cloak also have stars on them. He has a strap to maintain the staff on his back and a carrybag with smokebombs to wield. Also has black gloves on his hands and lastly has special goggles that function as his glasses as well as protecting his eyes (namely from the bright flashes.)

Personality Summary: Diego is a warm and emotional person with an occasion fiery temper and a burning streak for the pursuit for adventure and truth. He is very empathetic and has a great desire to help people out. Beneath this outgoing personality, Diego is a shy and quiet person. He is also a very artistic individual as he will often draw whenever he gets the chance to do so. He is very loyal, but can come on as clingy, especially around girls. He also likes to cook. When in serious situations, he knows it is time for him to use his intelligence and strengths at their full capacity. He is very creative and known to be devious for his ideas. He is regarded as being very smart in many aspects. He is very affectionate and likes to hug people he cares about. When you are a friend of Diego, you are usually a friend for life.

He has his faults, however. He is pretty mercurial and prone to emotional outbursts, especially when it comes to his temper Because of his condition, he can also be blunt and can seem thoughtless, though he recognizes when he says something that was out-of-hand and rushes to apologize. He also doesn’t pick up on social cues or understand some of the under tones. He may also show some malevolent intent or hold grudges for a while. He may even show cruel moments, characterized by a crazed grins and shadows under his eyes. He is prone to snarky or blunt comments and is often unable to figure out what to do in situations with people so will often mess things up, though he means no harm. Despite this or because of it, he tries to overcome these traits so people don’t judge him on his faults and see him as a good person.

History (include how you became an applicant): Born of Mexican heritage, Diego does not have of an interesting background. Born on the West Coast, his parents move to the Southeast a few months after his brother is born. He grew up being a bright but eccentric and lonely kid. Not able to understand that he was different and why the kids viewed him strangely, he took it in stride though his short temper would come out and showed that that the neglect gave him a growing self-loathing. In his mind, for every one of his age to avoid him and not being able to make friends until much later, made him wonder if something was the matter. Believing something was wrong with him, he repressed this self-loathing with optimism. He continued moving forward, though he became sulky and aggressive during middle school.

This coupled with his brother’s normalcy, growing contrasting personality and popularity made the two clash and a rift was created that Diego ultimately regretted and while on better terms, still views this as a shame. Regarding his parents, his father worked in Operations for a computer company while his mom was a homemaker. Diego loved both his parents but closer to his father because he was a very competent, understanding, patient and understanding man, despite his stubborn attitude and need for control. Diego loves his mom and anyone who offends her will be given the traditional Mexican treatment, i.e. a tongue lashing a chance for a beatdown. However, he views her slightly as a ditz and is exasperated by her occasional lack of practicality and frugality, though he sympathizes with her emotional side, due to being the same way.

Being left to his own devices with no real friends until later, Diego took to some of the nerd hobbies, mainly reading, video gaming and anime and manga. Being shy around some adults and never finding a mentor in the form an older peer, he centered his principles on heroes of various fictions. Emulating some of their properties and adopting their determination, they helped Diego forge a moral code. This combined with his stubbornness and intelligence, made him come off as someone who was devious in arguing and a smartass at times. In high school, as people matured and got used to him, Diego began mellowing out. Despite this, the ratio adds to the self-loathing by making him think many things are because of his fault. This gradual compilation led to the formulation of a potential dark side. Retaining his assets while thriving on anger, sadness, revenge and other suppressed emotions , this is the side of him he does his best to restrain.

Everything changed when he noticed some unusual qualities. Living in a relatively Quirk-free town, he was surprised to discover that much of the odd sights and such that has been going on around him was just his Quirk beginning to manifest. He first used it to foil a gun-wielder through his illusions, all while being watched by the police, who reported him to the local FAIE agent. The agent came up and helped Diego to apply. Diego was quite surprised and emotional that he possessed a Quirk, especially one deemed valuable to the most well-known and esteemed institution in the nation. He signed up and began his trek to become a hero!

Why not both?
I'm just going to post 2 WIPs (for siblings) here. I'll finish them when I have time.

Name: Fenris Arkwright
Heroic Alias: Weaver
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk: Mind Weaver (Mutant Class). Fenris has perfect control over all of his bodily functions. He can salivate, cry, sweat, etc. at will, he can move his hair, choose not to blink, stuff like that. His movements are quickened, and extremely accurate, making him great for work that requires precision or speed. His mind also functions at a much higher speed than others, making him great at things like mathematics or debate.

Arsenal: His superhero attire has all sorts of sensors on it that allow him to track all sorts of data on his surroundings (speed the enemy is moving at, temperature, how stable the buildings around him are, etc.), which is then displayed on a transparent visor. His gloves are made of a reinforced mesh that is about as strong as metal, allowing him to block blades and bullets. The entire uniform is made of a similar but less powerful mesh, similar to the ones Shouta Aizawa (Erasurehead) uses. The delicate nature of all this equipment means that he is more suited to support or assassination missions, and not all that good at extended, face-to-face physical fighting.

Physical Description: Fenris has pale skin, like someone who doesn't go outside much. He is slightly on the taller side for people his age, but not by much, although his skinny physique makes him seem taller than he actually is. Despite his apparent skinniness, he is actually quite fit, and has a lithe figure that is usually hidden by his loose clothing. His hair is spiky, long, unkempt, and a bright scarlet colour that makes him stand out in a crowd. If you look more closely, you can make out a few silver strands that give his hair a shimmering, ethereal quality. More often than not, a few strands hang over his eyes, which are an emerald green and have a strange piercing quality to them. Many find direct eye contact with him unnerving, which is why he usually lets some hair hang over his eyes to take the edge of his gaze. He's got a pointy nose and a sharp chin, which also add to the somewhat edgy aura he gives off.

When it comes to clothing, he prefers casual and has an adamant hatred of formal clothing. He as two main outfits. One is a loose scarlet, long-sleeved t-shirt with a pair of black, baggy track pants, and a black hoodie, usually either draped around his neck or tied around his waist. This is what he usually wears in more casual and homely settings, and most are familiar with his other outfit. Speaking of that, the outfit he tends to wear to school is a loose white shirt (top few buttons unbuttoned, please) with a long and very large black jacket, coupled again with a black tracksuit. The jacket's sleeves are large, and he often doesn't use them, preferring to wear the jacket like a cape. All of his clothing is either black, white, or scarlet. He always has a kind of disheveled look to him, as if he hadn't slept or changed for a few days.

His superhero uniform is a triangular black helmet with a red visor that covers his eyes but leaves his mouth and nose exposed. It comes with baggy black pants, a long black scarf and a billowy, ragged-looking black jacket, both made out of a very strong mesh, capable of absorbing decent amounts of shock. Underneath that he wears a long-sleeved red shirt. He also has two black gloves. There are sensors placed all over the uniform in different places, which display information into his visor.

Like this, but with green eyes.

Personality Summary: Fenris prefers to be alone, and detached from what is happening around him. He is a lone wolf by all counts - he operates alone, and in doing so, achieves the best results. He had never liked people, so he isolates himself from them on the logic that the less he is bound by his ties to others, the more free he is. His cynicism born from living out the early years of his life in the proverbial gutter surrounded by other, similarly cynical and disillusioned children had left him with the conviction that the world must be changed, but he considers himself unable to change it. He sees everything around him with a sort of detached disillusionment, and finds it difficult to have strong feelings about any subject.

He has hardly any sense of self worth, and tends to consider himself the lowest of the low in terms of society. Self sacrifice is a norm for him, especially when he thinks it's the most efficient way to get things done. He tends to go out of his way to help others who ask for or need his help, partly because of his belief that somebody with his talents have a responsibility to do so, and partly because he feels that it'll redeem him somehow. He is also incredibly forgiving and can't hold a grudge for long, as well as finding it very difficult to turn his efforts in the direction of hurting others.

Over years of careful observation helped by his keen intuition, Fenris had developed a sort of sixth sense when it came to human emotion. He is an expert at reading people's faces and actions and finding the emotions that were behind them, and is even better at using those emotions to get what he wanted. He usually tries to refrain from hurting others in this process, but exceptions will occasionally be made. Due to this sixth sense, as well as his quirk, he is actually very good in social situations despite his solitary existence, and many who interact with him more superficially (by that, I mean on an 'acquaintance' level, which is pretty much everyone) leave with the impression that he is a sociable person. He is known for not being fazed by anything when it comes to social contact, being able to slip in and out of the most awkward conversations with ease when it suits his needs. The complete confidence he has in his ability to get things done puts people at ease around him.

If there is another trait that defines Fenris, it is his lack of ambition. He has no real goals in life despite his tremendous intellect and social graces, and his dearest wish is to just live a peaceful life, alone or maybe married, in the suburbs somewhere, working in a normal job. He stays at the FAIE out of concern over his sister, as well as his curiosity about the hero world that he was originally created to be part of. In fact, his curiosity is one of the only three ways to motivate him (the other two being his sister and appealing to his help-people-because-I-have-to complex). Otherwise, he tends to just observe from the sidelines, away from the spotlight, which he believes should be placed on other people more worthy of it.

History (include how you became an applicant): Fenris was a failed genetic experiment, a byproduct of a series of attempts to produce the an ultimate being possessing all three types of quirks - Mutation, Transformation, and Emitter. He was born with an exceptionally rare quirk, which allowed him to control all of his bodily functions, but since the facility that was involved in the project had created such quirks before, this wasn't viewed with any sort of admiration or even interest. He spent the first five years of his life wasting away in the dormitories of the research facility as the scientists half-heartedly conducted tests on him. Left to fend for himself amongst other children in a similar position, all of which were feeling similar feelings of resentment and despair, Fenris quickly constructed a dark worldview that was further affirmed by everything he saw.

His sister, Akane, was born two years after him. While he had been too young to fully comprehend what it would mean, she was entrusted to him on the logic that since he was the older sibling, he held responsibility over his younger sister. The fact that he was two years old, and hardly capable of even taking care of himself, was an afterthought. Due to the neglect during her first couple of years of life, his sister's health had always been frail, something Fenris blamed himself for. The instant he became old enough to realise that the crying girl in the bassinet was under his care and was actually capable of caring for her, he took it upon himself to make sure that she lived as good a life as possible. He had given up on his own life a long time ago. However, this girl, with her cheerful and carefree demeanour despite her malnourishment, seemed to him to be a treasure that must not be defiled.

When the research facility was shut down, he was sent, along with his younger sister, to an orphanage in a bad part of town, where they had to fend for themselves amongst many other children with powerful quirks and twisted personalities, products of the same program. His sister, who was still young and frail, was helpless on her own, so Fenris had to fend for both of them. The people who ran the orphanage were usually too tired and stressed out to intervene in the affairs of the children, and usually left them to their own devices. By the time a crimson haired man called Pheonix Arkwright arrived to check out the children with strange quirks that were supposedly situated there, Fenris had become a thoroughly disillusioned and cynical individual, carrying many mental scars (and a few physical ones as well).

After this mysterious man chose to adopt him, as well as his sister, their lives began to improve. Since they no longer had to worry about food and shelter, Akane's health began to improve as well. Pheonix Arkwright, seeing potential in Akane, saw only a boy that was already dead inside in Fenris, and pushed him to the side in favour of his sibling. He didn't mind. In fact, the two remained on good terms with each other, since their interests and goals were quite similar - the wellbeing of his sister and the realisation of her potential. Everybody in the household, which was huge, despite the fact that Pheonix Arkwright was a single man with no family, knew this to be the truth, and they paid no heed to Fenris, knowing him to be nothing more than a sideshow and a supporting character. Just the way he had grown to like it.

So, when Akane fell ill once more on the day the entrance exams for the FAIE were to be taken, both Fenris and his adopted father were understandably distraught. Fenris insisted on caring for her himself, and he stayed near the room she was lying in, never leaving the house except to take short walks to clear is head or buy medicine. When it became apparent that she was going to recover soon, he took it upon himself to do whatever was necessary to get his sister into the FAIE, and to get himself there as well, where he would be able to continue supporting her. And he did just that.

Others:
- There are many rumours circulating around the student body about how exactly he managed to talk his way into the FAIE. Many suspect him of blackmailing certain executives, or other similarly morally questionable actions.
- He likes to play with his hair.
- Whenever he is feeling particularly irritated, he tends to like to make tapping noises with his index finger on his left hand.
- People who don't know him well like to joke that he'd make a better villain than he would a hero.

Another one:

Name: Akane Arkwright
Heroic Alias: Firebloom.
Gender: Female
Age: 14

Hero Classification: Quirk:
Quirk: Fire Weaver (Mutant/Emitter Class). Akane has perfect control over all of her bodily functions. She can move her hair, salivate/cry/sweat/etc. at will. All her movements are precise and extremely accurate, as well as powerful. Each individual strand of her hair is strong as steel, and can be controlled. She has the ability to set her hands, feet, and hair on fire, and her body is fireproof. A genetic problem prevents her from using her fire for extended periods of time.
Arsenal: Her suit has two shield-like structures on both of her arms, which can harness her fire to act as flamethrowers. There is also a mechanical device on her chest, hidden by her clothing, which helps with her lung problem.

Physical Description: Akane, like her brother, has a thin and almost wiry frame. Her skin is on the paler side, and it never tans. Her hair is also a fiery, scarlet colour, and is tied into two long braids on either side of her head. The rest of it is also quite long, occasionally hanging over her eyes, and she tends to just let it stick out in all directions because she thinks it looks cool. She has two bangs that hang down both sides of her face, and she often wears some sort of hair pin or decoration on the left side. Her eyes are an emerald green colour, and are quite large. She stands at about average height for somebody her age, although her face has a sort of childlike quality to it. She always appears to be a little on the messy side, like she had had to get dressed in a couple of seconds and had no time to make herself look presentable, but she hardly ever appears to be disheveled. She is very fit, but not exactly muscular.

Her normal attire is a white shirt with the bottom few buttons unbuttoned, usually all the way up to her chest, and a pair of baggy grey trousers. She owns no formal clothes, and her idea of dressing formally is to put on a loose orange tie and actually button her shirt properly. She always wears a pair of orange and black trainers, and also puts on black gloves every now and then. On colder days, she wears a large red jacket with really long sleeves over her normal clothing. Her clothing is often asymmetrical, with one of her sleeves long and the other sleeve short, and it is rare to find her wearing two gloves of the same colour. All of her shirts have some sort of pattern near the wrist, many of which she added on herself.

Her superhero attire is a brown hooded cloak, which looks straight out of some sort of fantasy anime. Under that, she tends to wear clothes similar to the ones she usually wears. She has two brownish shield-like structures on either arm, which can act like flamethrowers when she connects any of her burning body parts to them. Sometimes, she wears a kind of mask that covers the bottom half of her face, which helps her with her lung problem. She prefers to go without it though. She also has a pair of red goggles (like Tracer's, from Overwatch) that she keeps hanging loosely around her neck, which she occasionally puts on.

Like this, but, again, with green eyes.

Personality Summary: Akane is a person who finds it necessary to keep up facades around others. She constantly feels the pressure of her brother and father's expectations weighing on her, and goes out of her way to try and fulfil them. She tries her best to appear optimistic, dependable, and 'cool', and has gotten pretty darn good at it. As such, you can always expect her to have a serious expression and a no-nonsense attitude until you try and get to know her a bit, after which she smiles and laughs a lot more and generally tries to keep things light and optimistic, in accordance to what people expect of her. People often speak of her as a brash, outgoing tomboy, an image she likes to maintain.

Of course, her real personality is more complicated than that. She is a great liar/actor and can be a little manipulative, although her intentions are always good. She is very good at hiding her true feelings, an aspect of her that few people even know about. She has a need to be seen as dependable by others, and will go out of her way to help those who ask for her assistance, and has developed a reputation for being somebody that's always willing to lend a helping hand. This causes her trouble more often than not, because she tires easily, and she often finds herself feeling drained and tired after running around helping those that come to her for it.

She also has a bit of an inferiority complex, and often feels that she is not living up to the standards set by others and is in some way inadequate. She often finds fault in herself even when there is nothing at all wrong, and will often blame herself when in reality she is completely innocent. She looks up both to her brother and her father as some sort of idol, and strives to be like them, or to be the person they want/expect her to be. She hates to fail, and finds little joy in success, often attributing it to others. This cycle of self-deprecation often leaves her feeling empty and tired, although she never shows it.

All these insecurities and facades aside, however, she is still a huge kid at heart. Her childlike/girly side has been suppressed both by herself and by her experiences, leaving it buried under a bunch of lies and masks. However, she does still let it show through sometimes with those she is really close with, like her brother Fenris. She does things like collecting stuffed animals, and daydreams about stereotypically girly things quite often. She loves 'cute' things, and has the kind of curiosity and love of every little thing around her that is usually found in young children.

History (include how you became an applicant):

Akane, like her brother, was a genetically engineered child. Unlike her brother, the engineering was actually partly successful in her case. She was born with a mixture of a fire-making and body-controlling quirk, both very rare and powerful ones. However, the facility that was doing the research was forced to be shut down due to lack of funding and the protests of those that were against this type of genetic manipulation, and the children it had created were left without a home and sent to various orphanages around the city.

Through the earlier years of her life, she was a sickly child due to her health problems and the neglect during the early stages of her infancy. Along with her brother, the two of them had to fend for themselves amongst much older children, often having to fight or beg for food. Unlike her brother, however, these experiences did not leave her disillusioned and cynical, and instead instilled in her a love for all things beautiful and unknown to her.

Along with her brother, they were adopted by a rich man called Pheonix Arkwright, who was particularly interested in mutation-type quirks. He had once been a researcher for the program that had created these two children, and wanted to use the potential he knew they had for the greater good. While his intentions may have been pure, he didn't make a really good father. He was a single man, and live alone in a large mansion towards the suburbs. He had singled out Akane as his personal project, and set about trying to make her the hero he had originally envisioned her to be. He saw huge potential in her, and wwanted to realise it.

He wasn't a bad man, just quite aloof. He homeschooled them, hired tutors for all sorts of subjects, while he himself observed from the distance and gave aid where it was necessary. All along, however, he had made it clear to Akane that he expected her to become a hero, and that he expected her to be the best hero, because he knew unlike any other, having been her creator, that she had the capability. Akane, however, was quite a sickly child due a genetic illness that prevented her from using her quirk for extended periods of time (like All Might, but for a different reason), and constantly found herself unable to match up her adopted father's demanding standards. It was during this period of time that she started developing an inferiority complex and began to grow more interested in appearing to be 'cool' and dependable, something her brother saw but was powerless to prevent.

What was even worse was the fact that she had suddenly fallen badly ill when the entrance exams for the FAIE started, and was unable to attend. Her brother Fenris, despite having a good chance at getting in himself, stayed behind to look after her. This didn't sit well with their father, but since Fenris had always been fiercely independent and a tad bit rebellious, he couldn't do much about it. When she had finally recovered, Fenris managed to get the FAIE to allow them to take the exam again despite the fact that they had missed the deadline by a couple of weeks. Both passed with flying colours.

Others:
- She has a lung problem, caused by a error in the genetic engineering process. She coughs up blood occasionally, and finds it difficult to do intense exercise for long periods of time.
- She doesn't like water and hates fish.
- She loves cats.
- She can dance really well.
- She's a bit of a sci-fi nerd/otaku and sometimes uses basic japanese words in her speech.

Metallic Wonder
Home from Denmark and have watched some of the anime. Gonna work more on this as i get inspiration.

Name: Silas Denver
Heroic Alias: Ice-Breaker
Gender: Male
Age: 16

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk: Freezer
Silas' quirk enables him to cool the temperature around himself, and to create, and manipulate Ice. His range isn't too impressive, but he is very efficient in close-combat, combining his quirk with his already good fighting skills. His quirk also renders him immune to the cold, allthough he is somewhat bothered by fire and heat.
He can also freeze surfaces by touching them.

Arsenal:
- He fights by dual wielding a pair of batons, which combined with his quirk, can leave a nasty frostbite.
DobmoaG.png
be5AElf.png

Physical Description: Silas is a guy around medium height, not being too tall, nor too short. He has a slim, yet very fit figure due to his training regiment, and is rather proud of that. His skin is pale. Like, seriously pale. He doesn't easily get tans either, and end up avoiding the sun alltogether, as it more or less gives him sunburns more often than not, after a ridiculously short amount of time. His hair is pale blonde, which goes nicely with his pale skin. It is mostly kept in a fashionable, simple style that requires little effort. His eyes are also pale blue in color, and his irises are star-shaped: A trait, amongst a few others, that he inherited from his father. His eyes mostly have a friendly, if not somewhat aloof look to them, and he often looks relaxed because of it, despite his efforts.

For clothing, Silas is a simple guy. He likes to find that middle center between simplistic and comfortable, and stylish. He doesn't give off a vibe saying "lol I don't care about my looks", but it doesn't look like he tries too hard either. His favorite color are light shades of blue, amongst with white, and as such, his go-to outfit consists of a light blue short-sleeved shirt that he keeps buttned up all the way in a rather conservative style. He also wears a pair of simple, white jeans and a pair of darker blue snickers.

Despite his rather normal and conservative look, his superhero outfit is far less.. conservative. Blinded by the excitement for being at the academy, mixed together with not knowing he actually did have a saying in this, his outfit was chosen for him. Now in hindsight, he feels he should have raised a question mark at some point, and he feels slightly awkward in his costume. It is a simple attire, reminiscent that of a ninja, just.. not. He wears a cropped, short sleeved white jacket without any shirt underneath, showing off his torso, and a pair of short, white shorts. He also wears a pair of white tights, which covers only one of his legs. With this, he also wears a golden belt around his waist. He has simple, white gloves and shoes as well, which gives the outfit a nimble feel, and makes it easy to move around in it. To hide his identity, he wears an iron mask covering his mouth and nose, which is connected to a long, slim, pale blue scarf. Due to the look of his superhero attire, he does feel slightly uncomfortable at times, all though he tries to get over it.

Personality Summary: Silas is a very easy going person that is fairly simple to get along with once you know him. He has a pretty laid back view on life, and doesn't take things too seriously, which makes him come off as carefree to others. He dislikes stress, and always takes things in his own tempo, almost regardless of the situation. He doesn't really smile that often, but maintains that friendly goofy look, making it difficult to pinpoint what is going on inside his head. He is not overly social, and rarely interact with people for more than he is required to. He has never been very skilled in social situations, and often appear cold and indifferent (because bad puns are required from an Ice-Type character), despite his appearance. It is not that he is selfish. Rather.. Oblivious to other peoples needs. Getting to know him might be frustrating, but it is a rewarded effort in the end.

He is fairly intelligent, and has always had above average grades. He is not an over-achiever, but knows that his academic pursuits are important for a good future, unless his superhero'ing kicks off, which he hopes it will. He has always looked up to other heroes, even from when he was little. He was overly excited when his own quirk manifested at the age of 4, and was blissfully oblivious to his concerned parents. His appearance and quirk are almost identical to those of his father, the retired villain, Breaking-Ice. He idolizes his father, and aims to be like him, which in turn fuels his parents concern about him. He himself is oblivious to the fact though, despite his parents having told him like a million times. Silas follows his own dream, which is to be awesome like his dad, and to save people everywhere!

History: To understand Silas' childhood, it is better to take a quick look at his parents first. Silas' dad is the now reformed notorious villain, Breaking Ice, whose quirk allows him to create, and control Ice, just like himself. He used to run with a band of villains, robbing banks and misusing their quirks for their own benefit. He'd worked up quite the reputation, until one day when he met a certain woman. This woman was an apothecary, and was completely qiorkless. nonetheless, she had a fierce temper and determined personality, which he quickly fell for. The two eventually fell in love, allthough Silas' mother, whose name is Sarah, made it very clear that she would only be with his dad, if he put his criminal ways behind him. It took little persuasion for him to do so, and the two started dating, and eventually married and settled down.

A few more years, they had Silas. At first glance, he was pretty similar to his father, but the red lights started flickering when they discovered that he inherited his fathers star-shaped irises, hair color, and overal physical appearance. He looked just like his father when he was young himself. The rumor got out, and it didn't take long before a FAIE agent came knocking on the door. It was no secret that Silas' dad was a former villain, and though he didn't do evil anymore, nobody really trusted him. Silas was thus monitored regularily until his quirk manifested at the age of 4. Just as more or less everyone expected, his quirk was the same as his dads. He was starting to become a sort of Mini-me of his father, and even his parents were a little bit worried. Throughout his childhood, Sila always looked up to his dad, and aspired to be as awesome as he was, even honing his quirk in hopes of surpassing him. He was utterly, completely oblivious to the fact that everyone around him was weary of his development.

Luckily though, it appeared that Silas didn't have an evil bone in his entire body. He always strived to be the best person he possible could, helping people everywhere. people around him were still wary though, as he was, after all, the son of the notorious Breaking Ice. This made it somewhat difficult for him to make friends, but he didn't dwell too much on it. Sure, it got lonely every now and then, but he really enjoyed spending time alone anyway. his family weren't really subtle in their trying to encourage him to become a hero, but it was all right. He did want to one day become an awesome hero, saving people everywhere. The thought of the possibility always excited him and when he was contacted by the FAIE agent once again with an offer to attend the academy, he was overjoyed.

Others:
- He has inherited his fathers evil laugh, and is completely ignorant to other people being unnerved by it.

Okay, some notes for everyone!

Quirks tend to manifest themselves usually around 4 and the latest around 12 or so, so everyone should have a couple years of expperience unless the Quirk was vague/subtle enough not to be noticed, like Illusion. 80% of the world has superpowers, some minor and some large and everything in between so keep this in mind. Did they always knew since or did they now because of how it work.

Having superpowers is the NORM here, so keep that in mind when designing your character. If they manifest these powers, they should know why, though they may not work how they worked.

@Monster_Guy- I recommend giving Leo a strong knowledge on chemistry and biology so he knows how to create his candies. "Creaty", a heroine with the ability to create items (utilized from her body fat and appearing from the surface of her skin) is able to do so because she knows the molecular structure of the object. Leo would need to possess a strong knowledge of medicine and the like to make the most effective candies.

@Schade- I do recommend watching the anime before finishing the profile so you get a better sense of how the world works. As for the Quirk, there is already one similar to it in the manga: http://bokunoheroacademia.wikia.com/wiki/Electrification

@Vern- De-age your characters by about one year each to kinda fit in with the group regarding age-setting

You can probably still have it, but go into the details regarding the weaknesses

Sooo, my Quirk is a no-go due to the similarities to the one from the manga?

You can either try and figure out how to differentiate it (like they absorb ambient electricity in the air)

That might make things difficult. I'll just change his quirk. I don't think I saw any Cryokinetic characters on that list of yours.

One minor character has it (she is the mother of a supporting character, who has both ice and fire powers.) BUt you choose. It is fun to see what you can do with creativeness

Wip as heck

Name: Faye Fenske
Heroic Alias: Enigma
Gender: Female
Age: 16

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk: Lycan (Transformation Class); Faye has the ability to transform herself into a wolf, almost as if she was a werewolf. As this puts a lot of strain on her body, she usually prefers to just transform her hands into ferocious looking humanoid wolf hands with large claws. She also has the ability to sharpen her teeth to strike and bite her opponents.

Arsenal:
- Faye doesn't use weaponry or equipment due to her shapeshifter-like nature

Physical Description:
zMifYJ5.png
KF63hSW.png

Faye is slightly taller than the average female of her age, and a little bulkier than most girls her age would typically appear. She looks tough, in an odd way; probably due to the usual scary looking fashion she tends to wear. She's muscular in a feminine way, still maintaining a girly figure but due to her muscle instead of fat content she is rather lacking in the breast department, having only a B cup. Her skin tone isn't quite white but isn't dark enough to be an identifiable minority, she mostly looks like she just maintained a tan from the summer. Her skin is blemish free, well, unless you consider piercings blemishes. Her left ear is pierced at the top by two rings, and a small gem at the bottom; she links the piercings with a chain which hangs down next to her cheek. Her tongue is also pierced with a small stud, which she likes to stick out and taunt people with. Her eyes are sinister looking, almost animal-like and a beautiful amber in colour. She claims her sight is as sharp as a wolf's but this has yet to be confirmed (It's assumed she's bluffing to make herself look good). Her hair could be described as somewhat messy and wild, redish brown in colour and sticking up in all sorts of odd places. Not unkempt, per-say, but mostly just naturally wild.

For clothing, Faye likes to look tough. Her name implies something delicate, like a fragile fairy but she intends to break the barriers surrounding that stigmatism. She usually wears a battered looking purple sweater with a skull on the front, it has a large hole hear her stomach and rips all throughout the sleeves. A half belt with studs on it rests at her side, giving her look another edge. On the left sleeve of her top she has a red bandana tied around her arm, she doesn't really talk about what it is, but it actually covers a rip in the clothing that reveals a huge scar; and she covers it to not show weakness. For pants, she sticks to grey tights; liking the comfort and overall edge they give her appearance. She completes her attire with black combat boots.

Her superhero attire is a little, sexy, for lack of a better word. She tends to stick with the colour red as it is what her transformed wolf has as a fur colour. This outfit consists of a red mask to cover her eyes and protect her identity, as well as a red bodysuit that fits similar to a one piece bathing suit. Her cleavage is covered by a large red bow and she has an intricate red pattern near the crotch of the outfit. Upon her hips rests a lacy overskirt that is a light red in colour and to complete her look she wears long red stockings. If she focuses hard enough while wearing her attire, a pair of wolf ears and a tail will sprout up.

Personality Summary:
Rude, "Bad", Typical tough girl, scwawy.
Faye could be described as a rather cold individual, she likes to stick to her own company and has a "lone wolf" kind of attitude. She's loud, confident, and cocky; loving to shout about any accomplishments she feels she's made. She likes to keep her tough looking exterior and as such, puts on a tough "I'll kick anyone's ***" attitude. She's threatening, and enjoys making others know she's in control. However, this isn't exactly the real her. She's very intelligent, doing well in school but often being kicked out due to starting fights with her fellow classmates or just presenting an intimidating attitude towards teachers.

She has a soft girly side, enjoying things that are stereotypically cute but she'll only reveal this side to you if you get to know her. She prefers having people think she's scary, unladylike and rude so they'll leave her alone. She revels in the fact that she can make others feel extremely uncomfortable due to her sharp tone, piercing filled body, and attitude. She's known to attempt to make others feel off around her by either flirting, sticking out her tongue piercing, or showing off her brutish and tomboyish attitude. She likes making 'gross' jokes to make people see her boyish side.

History (include how you became an applicant): nice childhood, great family, decided to be rebellious, her parents dislike her temper and presentation now.

Resolute

ribombee is my dawg
Name: Lenny McConnor
Heroic Alias: Composite Man
Gender: Male
Age: 14, pretty close to turning 15

Hero Classification: Quirk
Quirk:
Composite Body
Lenny is able to take nearly any material that he touches and coat his limbs or entire body with it. In addition, once the material covers his body, Lenny can shape it to how he needs it, as long as he has enough material on his person to do it realistically. This can allow for better protection when fighting more dangerous enemies, or to get a better advantage in battles.

Lenny can use his Quirk on solids and liquids, but can't use his power on living beings or gas. He cannot change the substance of materials he absorbs. In addition, he can only maintain Composite Body for a maximum of five minutes before he passes out.

(Basically, it's Kevin from Ben 10, but with some adjustments. If I need to change anything to debuff Composite Body more, I'll be happy to. :D)
Arsenal:
As Composite Man, Lenny wears a black jumpsuit with orange gloves. The jumpsuit has orange accents on the neckline and shoulders. Lenny also wears a pair of high-tech shock-absorbing boots that allow him to survive a 30-foot drop pretty unscathed when landing on his feet. He wears a black Balaclava-style mask with the letters "CM" in orange on his forehead. Finally, Lenny's field equipment is rather light, consisting of a small first-aid kit and a couple of smoke bombs.

Physical Description:
c754017b512241b651abd9f863afcc97.jpg

Lenny is about 5'10'' and has brown eyes.

Personality Summary:
Spastic, talkative, and always motivated, Lenny makes it his mission to brighten up the days of those around him. He isn't afraid to embarrass himself in front of others and is always ready to crack a joke (he specializes in timing them really badly). He's quick to trust people, and is about as loyal of a friend as you can get.

Despite his energy, Lenny can be really clueless sometimes. There have been a number of times where a friend of his obviously wasn't in the mood to talk, and Lenny would crack really crappy jokes Brexit jokes for a half hour before getting said friend to snap. Lenny's also really gullible, and can't really see through lies unless they're obviously false. His maturity isn't quite there, either, seeing as how he still cracks up if you even mention anything to do with a bathroom. Overall, Lenny's grades are typically high C's to low B's.

Strangely enough, though, Lenny can cook. I mean, really cook. He wants to own his own restaurant if he decides against being a Hero.

History (include how you became an applicant):
Hailing from a suburban part of Philadelphia, Lenny's always been a center of attention. As a kid, he and his friends would always go on adventures together in their neighborhood, and his trademark energy's been with him since the beginning. When his Quirk manifested at age four, Lenny figured out pretty quick that it was powerful enough to be used for Hero work. He decided relatively early on that being a Hero was what he wanted to do with his life.

Lenny kind of shlocked through school, getting fairly average grades. He was active on his middle school's soccer team, as well as the school video game club. Eventually, Lenny ended up enrolling in a family science class out of curiosity and found that he really enjoyed it. He was a founding member of the school's cooking club and remained it's president until he graduated to high school.

At that point, however, Lenny applied to FAIE, hoping to follow his dreams and become a hero. With a little luck, he managed to pass the application test in the 30th percentile or so, giving him the opportunity to finally do what he's always wanted to do.

(Next part is a WIP, will get to it tomorrow.)
