My Hero Team ;) - My Emerald Team!

My Hero Team - My Emerald Team!

OK, here's my Emerald team, I just want to know which moves to teach them or what items to give them to hold not to catch another one with another nature/ability :D

Note: I don't use moves that don't do damage so the Sunny Day-Solarbeam combo isn't so useful for me neither Dragon Dance. Also, if my Gyarados knows Hyper Beam it's for two reasons:
1. Good last resource.
2. Gyarados' amazing Attack.

Houndoom (Flash Fire/Hasty):
@ Leftovers
Flamethrower
Crunch
Iron Tail
Fire Blast

Manectric* (Lightiningrod/Naive):
@ Leftovers
Thunderbolt
Iron Tail
Thunder
Bite

Charizard (Flaze/Adamant):
@ Leftovers
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Fly
Overheat

Kabutops (Swift Swim/Sassy):
@ Shell Bell
Slash
Dig
Surf
Rock Slide

Gyarados (Intimidate/Hardy):
@ Leftovers
Surf
Ice Beam
Hydro Pump
Hyper Beam

Salamence (Intimidate/Modest):
@ Leftovers
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Fire Blast
Fly

*Shiny, therefore can't be changed :(

well, since you dont like to use non attacking stats (although very useful) i would suggest that you try and not have two same type attacks on your poke's. also, tryo to get in some diferent type of pokes. you have 2 fire and waters, plus 3 flying. that doesnt look so good to me

But how do I know if the hidden power is gonna be exactly that type :( Also, Kabutops can't learn Earthquake ( I know, it should be able but it isn't

EDIT: Also, no Fly? It's my Emerald team you know, it's also used for transportation :D

Psyboy

Psychic Breeder
I use HM Slaves but it gets annoying going to the PC everytime I want to move but still you don't wanna mess up your team with dumb HM * only exception Surf* so get a HM Slave

Night Avenger

Rust In Peace
Well Aerial Ace does 60 damage while Fly does 70 and the first turn I make them loose 1 PP of the move they used (Also I wouldn't use Fly is I'm against an electric type, I'm not stupid :D)

Vampiric Knight

Dance with the Devil

Fly's way too predictable. The opponent can block you on the attacking turn. The same goes for any other 2-turn attacks, so get an HM slave.

Meh, it's in-game, though...

Edit: All-attacking movesets that have 2 moves of the same types fail. :(

<Salamence is green!
why the hell do u only use attacks that makes ur team suck i use usaaly 2 attakc and 2 effect moves, i dont like 2 kill quickly that make u reckless and u lose a battle but paticne will make ur team better and give u an advantage, so dont be so reckless, i like moves like rest , and torment.

Houndoom (Flash Fire/Timid)@ Lum Berry
Flamethrower
Crunch
Wil-o-Wisp
Substitute / Beat Up

Beat Up's labelled Dark, but actually it doesn't count as any type. It works pretty well on Houndoom when you've got powerhouses like Gyarados and Salamence in your team. Wil-o-Wisp helps it survive longer.

Houndoom@Lum
Hasty Nature
- Howl
- Sludge Bomb
- Fire Blast / Flamethrower
- Crunch / Shadow Ball

Howldoom. Novelty set, but usable. Mainly used for countering Special walls that Flamethrower and Crunch can't handle.

Manectric* (Static/Timid)@ Petaya Berry
Thunderbolt
Crunch
HP [Grass / Ice / Water]
Sub

When using this set make sure total HP is divisible by 4 so Petaya activates exactly after 3 Substitutes

Charizard (Blaze/Adamant)@ Leftovers
Swords Dance / Dragon Dance
Aerial Ace / HP [Flying]
Earthquake
Fire Blast / Overheat

Kabutops (Swift Swim/Naive)@Leftovers
Rain Dance
Knock Off / HP [Ground]
Surf / Hydro Pump
Rock Slide

Kabutops@Salac Berry
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Endure
- Flail
- Rock Slide

Flailing Kabutops. This thing is an absolute nightmare without a proper counter.

Gyarados (Intimidate/Adamant)@ Leftovers
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- HP [Flying] / Return
- T-Wave / Hydro Pump

Salamence (Intimidate/Adamant)@ Leftovers
Dragon Dance
Earthquake
Fire Blast / Hydro Pump / Rock Slide
Aerial Ace / HP [Flying]

DDmence. This thing sweeps entire teams like no other. Rock Slide is generally the prefered move ingame. Fire Blast / Hydro Pump are only used to counter physical walls. Or if you want it, Elemence:

Salamence@lefties
Modest Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Flamethrower / Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump
- Crunch / HP [Grass / Electric]

Changes are in BOLD. A pokemon with Rock Slide and Earthquake can easily clean out your entire team. Huge BoltBeam weakness as well. What you need is something that can take attacks like a bulky water, or a Steel type.

All attacking movesets WILL fail because they will get outstalled by things that have defensive or recovery moves, like Calm Mind, Recover and Rest.
